You should all know the best and worst times to eat dates. Let me tell you the best times first.
Even though dates are naturally high in sugar, they do not raise blood sugar levels quickly. Two to four dates can be eaten 30-60 minutes before exercise because the carbs in them take longer to break down,
which gives the body a steady source of energy or fuel.
Its high fiber content keeps you full for a long time and keeps you from hunger. As a result, dates are the healthiest snack and can even be consumed before bed.
Dates should be consumed first thing in the morning to get the most out of their energy boost, which also helps to combat intestinal worms, cleanse critical organs, and improve heart and liver health. Some tests have shown dates to increase potency and act as an aphrodisiac. Others have mentioned how the antioxidants in dates can improve the appearance of your skin and hair.
Experts recommend eating dates daily as a snack to help one feel energized without crashing soon afterward, as they promote weight loss, treat constipation, strengthen the body's immune system, improve heart and brain health, and even prevent diseases like Alzheimer's, different types of cancer, and other chronic diseases.

In addition to the high fructose content (potentially dangerous to the liver), they are also high in oxalates (potentially dangerous to the kidneys), and should be eaten sparingly if at all. As for their claimed antioxidant power, the ORAC rating of medjools is 2387, higher than some, but only a fraction of several other fruits.
