@@TheAnxietyGuy1 Was very shallow/short breath a common symptom you suffered as well? It can even come during times of me not feeling anxious neither. Usually mostly if not always accompanied by tight chested. That is what i have been currently dealing with, my symptoms usually come in like "phases" for x amount of time if that makes sense. Working on getting over this anxiety completely!

I can't remember the last time I woke up feeling relaxed and happy and being able to just lay there contemplating things and maybe just rolling over and going back to sleep again. Every morning for me is just as you describe, a few seconds of peace while my brain wakes up then a huge wave of anxiety with the "ohhhh noooo" feeling of dread and fear, that's how my day starts and continues every morning.

Hey Dennis. The practice of seeing, touching, hearing has helped. Also what can we do when we hear that someone has high blood pressure or someone is in the hospital or any other health issue and we immediately get anxious and worried even though it’s not even us! It’s someone else’s issue yet we feel as if it could be ours somehow. Is that an unconscious empathetic issue, taking on other people’s issues and worries? It happens to me a lot.
@joeltunnah3 жыл бұрын
Same for me. It’s a lack of boundaries. You were probably trained as a child to anticipate the needs and moods of your parents. That develops a) top of class empathy, and b) a complete lack of boundaries in your mind regarding other people’s problems and feelings.
@pattyboucetta18973 жыл бұрын
@@joeltunnah Definitely #2. What is top of class empathy? And as a kid my parents were pretty even keeled.
@joeltunnah3 жыл бұрын
@@pattyboucetta1897 I just meant a very highly developed empathy. It’s a survival skill for kids in a reverse parenting situation, or whose parents were alcoholics, or narcissistic (covert or overt). Maybe you’re an exception.

The last few years I try to aim to get up early every day, same time, set the alarm clock radio, even though I'm not even working FT anymore. This seems to help fake my mind or anxiety out, so even if I don't get up at the earliest time, (5":30) I still get up very early, and usually don't have trouble getting going. I try to NOT look at my iPhone or my PC until I"m dressed and ready to head out. Even then, sometimes I don't, I go out and get going and in the car etc. and then later, look at my phone. It's a good habit to get into. In my case, generally once I am dressed, out the door, and on way in my car, I'm fine. I don't have tons of social anxiety, generally, but other kinds, yes. And always had some measure of morning anxiety.

I do believe the mind can play a vital role in healing the physical ailments one experiences. Certainly, best to confront the low blood sugar issue in the morning in connection with learning how to tame the emotions and begin separating yourself from an ego based response and towards a higher self type of response to the screams coming from the body.
