1:39 ..... i really hope to see this in my lifetime. It would be really amazing if we can get the user input to be efficient for navigation. The mouse is incredibly good and touch is a very good second best. VR controls are still a bit clunky and it is still easy to miss a button press in far too many VR/XR experiences .

Moonrider is amazing. I'm starting to learn A-frame for VR dev it looks very cool. Godot is good too maybe a little advanced for me at this point.

@@lorileigh9 Unfortunately NO. My PC's Internet speed gets way slower when I start SteamVR, especially when it's active. I couldn't find a solution. Edit: I must add that starting SteamVR slows the Internet even on other devices around the home connected to the same WiFi. So it might be a hardware thing, not only a software. I am very confused on why this happens!!

Hey, Cas, I read that Oculus has already got WebXR implemented in their browser. Does it mean that I can get the position of the whole hand from their hardware or do I get only the vector at the event of a pinch as a substitute for a click? Quest specific question.

I can't answer this, haven't looked into the API myself. Only played the games! I would say, take a look at the link I posted in the description.

I'm trying out A-painter on my Oculus Quest but cannot seem to access the brush menu. I can paint with both of my controllers so they are registering within the browser, but I cannot access the menu. What did you do to get there?

I can definitely recommend "Trajectile Commander" a retro inspired WebVR game. There's also a website called xrca.de that lists a bunch of experiences I haven't seen before. WebVR is great. Very versatile and so easy to load ^_^ !

I think i have kinda heard about webvr but i have not hear alot of people talk about it and i did not know it came out already i think webvr is a great idea because just imagine in the future that we can actually go inside the internet for real in vr in 2030s decade with full vr experience i think that will be mind blowing i would love to see that happen soon one day i have also heard all about xr too and now i also what to talk about the back in the day in the 90s virtual reality was also a thing back then too in the arcades and there was going to be sega vr and atari jaguar got cancelled i know that the virtual boy did not do well vr kinda died out until vr made a comeback in 2012 with oculus rift i want to know and ask you have that have you cas and chary try out virtual reality in the 90s when you were young what did you think of it back then in my honest opinion or have you guys never try vr back then?

@@CasandChary well for me i never heard about vr either back in the 90s i kinda knew that you never heard about it because i had a feelings i was just making sure that's all but thanks for letting me know that you probably wouldn't have understood it back then and well i think my mom took me to the arcades to play this one vr game that i really enjoy when i was a kid but back then i didn't know what vr was called until 2012 and i wish that you guys heard all about it back in the day but that's ok that you never tried vr that you wouldn't have understood it maybe an a parallel universe dimension that you did tried vr out in the 90s but not in this dimension and thanks for sharing that with me

Lol moonrider just uses beat saber maps, but literally uses the oldest, most janky and offbeat maps possible.
