we have so much turkey. my family will love this Pam. Just to tell a great memory, my mom always made turkey pot pie with bisquick biscuits on top every single Sunday after Thanksgiving. we knew we were having that dish just as we knew we were having turkey on Thsnksgiving, lol. God bless you all during the holiday season.

Hello Ms. Pam! It's a joy watching and learning new facts just about EVERYTHING from you. I made seafood dressing with Scallops and clams this year. It was so so good. I made extra to freeze for later. I also froze some turkey and gravy. I just watched this video and went straight to the freezer to take out a quart size bag of dressing with a bag of turkey and gravy. Wife and I had this for breakfast this morning with some grits and eggs. My God, it was so good. We always have brunch for Christmas instead of a dinner. This will be on our menu with prime rib for our Christmas Brunch this year. Thanks for sharing, and Happy Holidays to you and your family ❤

I don’t know how I found your channel but as I have been thrust into the role of cook due to the fact that my wife is recovering as is my mother,whom I moved in with us to keep all my “eggs “ in one basket as it were. I need all the recipe help I can get. This sounds perfect. Thank you so much. I’m cooking for some tough food critics. I’d like to say how much I enjoy your channel though I’d probably watch you heat up a can of soup. You have a wonderful smile which makes me feel good just to see it. Your friends and family are truly blessed to be able bask in its warmth.

You should not be wearing any jewelry at all while cooking. You're handling food with your hands and you have on a ring that's probably full of germs. Not healthy.
@CookingAtPamsPlace Жыл бұрын
It’s my food and the only person I’m cooking for is my husband. And if you never seen professional chefs cook without gloves and their jewelry on go look at anything on Food Network. And maybe YOUR rings and jewelry or full of germs but not mine.Ones thoughts and words tell a lot about the type of person they really are. Thank you
@mema8710 Жыл бұрын
@CookingAtPamsPlace I'm a subscriber to your channel. I like how you keep your segments lively and helpful. I appreciate your suggestions and cooking techniques too. However, I watched my Mom cooking as I was growing up and being taught,and she always took her wedding ring off before going into the kitchen to cook. I'm sorry you took offense to my post. Just Because some national renound chefs prepare foods with jewelry on doesn't make it right that they prepare and cook with jewelry on. I was taught that when you're cooking, your hands should be free from jewelry and your hands and fingernails should be clean because you're handling food for human consumption. Even if you are only cooking for you and your husband only, hands should be thoroughly cleaned, without anything that could have germs on them. Would you want to eat food that has been prepared by people with hands that had on jewely?Think about it Pam. Sorry you took offense. I'll still watch your segments that interest me because I have used some of your techniques and have learned some other "how to" that helps. We can agree to disagree. Thanks for your response.
@CookingAtPamsPlace Жыл бұрын
Yes. There is nothing wrong with agreeing to disagree. My husband and I do all the time! My mom never took her rings off for anything. But I understand your point of view too. Thanks for sharing and thank you so much for your support. I really appreciate it ❤️

@CookingAtPamsPlace thanks for the notification about the food recalls. I had not heard about any of the recalls until you posted them. It's becoming more and more concerning about if the foods we buy to eat are safe to consume or not. Our world is changing, unfortunately not for the better. We must continue to pray without ceasing. My husband used to say that it's the food we are eating that is harming and killing us. I'm beginning to believe that he was right. Thanks again for your alertness and sharing with us.
