So does that computer tell you if the transmission is leaking? If a dust boot is torn? If a shock is leaking? Are any bushings dry rotten? Is the subframe cracked? How much life the brakes have left? I'm glad to see that you have finally seen the light in regard to to the G series Infinitis, Scotty. For years they have been very highly regarded in terms of reliability and balance between performance, comfort, and luxury. The drivetrains are ultra reliable, especially the manual transmission variants coupled with the engine oil galley fix done from 2011 on. And yes, they are fast good handling cars in stock form, but if performance is your bag, minimal intake and exhaust mods coupled with a good tune REALLY ups the HP, and slight lowering plus slightly thicker sway bars and some sticky tires turn these things into extremely capable back road/track monsters, without affecting ride comfort substantially. The brakes on the S series especially are incredible too, and the net result is a car that is especially rewarding to drive and can put to shame it's German sedan competitors with magnitudes less repair issues. As an added bonus as far as I'm concerned the sedan versions not only offer rear seats that actually fit normal sized humans very well, but are also stiffer and lighter than their zoomy two door coupe sister. What's not to love about these things?

Scotty I purchased a used Q40 (aka leftover g37) year 2015 30k miles for 15 grand at an acura dealership. Since the vehicle was replaced by q50 and had 2 owners it depreciated a ton. I payed 90 bucks to get a complete inspection of the vehicle which checked all the boxes and the vehicle was in ideal condition in every regard. I heard the reliability on these engines especially post 2011 is outstanding. It's been out since early 2000s and continuously refined for the gs. The 7 speed auto is also knows for its durability and its rear wheel biased on demand AWD system retains the fun RWD characteristics while giving you fun in the snow with up to 50% added power in the front when needed. It came with bose sound system and still has all hard buttons for volume, tuning, presets and so on, which I love. Hydraulic power steering is still used which I love. In addition the growl of this V6 especially during initial startup is great. This vehicle checked off all the boxes for me and to this day I still haven't found a vehicle as balanced as this one. Well.... maybe except the q50 which is more expensive. This is why whenever you posted bad remarks on the infinitis due to nissan/renault merger I always was waiting for you to exclude the g35/37s.

Good engines, good design, lots of space inside, rode smooth like a big car and super reliable. I had mine 8 years and it never broke on me.
