Hi guys. Phoebe your check for smells etc reminded me of an incident I had on my boat. My mate's partner came to me and said the words as skipper you never want to hear..." your toilet won't flush." Alarm bells rang, brain cells were activated, as I mentally tried to figure out what I'd forgotten to tell a non sailor what to be aware of. "Clang"..... it came to me. Only needed one quick question...."Did you try and flush a tampon down.?" Answer yes. Yep I'd forgotten to tell her. Hey it was just a little mistake. Fortunately my yacht was due for its annual bum scrub, and anodes replacement in the next day or so, and needed to come out. Loving your channel. Love to Sonya too. 8 months behind on videos? This channel is primed to explode in a real good way. I could understand intentionally delaying videos by a few weeks for security reasons, but it’s time to upgrade some hardware if you’re serious about making this a full time gig. I’d also recommend starting a merch line. There are a ton of other things you could do as well. Best wishes to you both.

Hey mate, as always appreciate seeing your comments on here :) We are pumping out a video a week which is pretty good considering the amount of work involved in creating them! We will catch up over time. For now we are just enjoying the experience of our first year as full time cruisers. Something we dreamed about for so long. It’s just awesome that we can capture and share it along the way (even if it is delayed a while). We are enjoying the journey and letting the opportunities open as we go. Plenty of time ahead for creating environmentally fair and ethical merchandise. Our next hugely exciting process is a website, all these things take time and Sonya has proved she is unable to help so it’s just up to Phoebe and myself with what ever support we get along the way. @@Thenewkidsonthedock keep up the good work. When I was producing weekly videos on my other channel, it was pretty much 1 hour of editing for every minute of video, so I get it. Concerning merchandise, if I might offer a few suggestions. Every sailing channel sells the typical crap. T-shirts, hats, mugs, etc. They might be great quality, but there isn’t a channel I love so much to proudly display in public. So, I offer this idea. Sticking with your theme of being environmentally conscious and being one with nature, offer ocean / reef safe products like sunscreen, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap, laundry detergent and any other personal hygiene items one might find on a boat. I’d also suggest that you and Phoebe model your own personal swimwear lineup. I know money is tight, but it might be worth investing in a marketing manager to develop your brand, host your website, and get you in touch with suppliers that make the products that you would be willing to put your name on. That would be something I’d be willing to buy from y’all.
