But Mr Brown still one of my favourite actors of all the time he gets a bigger role in another billion dollar movie and that's Frozen 2 as General Mattius, King Angaar former bodyguard when he was a child and he treated the young king like a son so that's why, I like Mr Brown because he makes a good father figure actor on my opinion if that's okay to say

I think the reason everyone loves T'Chaka's costume is cause of one thing: its practical. Disney CGI's everything nowadays, including costumes. But here we see an actual, crafted costume that the actor is wearing. Every detail and sculpt on the suit is hand made, and its something we all can appreciate since its a rarity now

I love how in just 5 min you get a perfect representation of two sides of the same coin N’Jobu wants to help the world but in a bad way he literally says “We could give them the weapons that they could use to overthrow these governments and then Wakanda could rule them! The right way!” That’s not freedom that’s Tyranny T’Chaka is not the king of every black person He is the king of Wakanda he must look after HIS people and you can’t just justify a world wide racial war because of social injustice While T’Chaka was always reserved he never intervened in the world or its problems he never aided anyone in wars or helped the poor across the world he just sat by and did...nothing “The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing”-Edmund Burke You see that they are both sides of the same coin One wants extreme action to be taken One doesn’t want any action to be taken.. and then this of course leads to T’Challa and Killmongers conflict Killmonger wants the same as his father but with more imperialism he even says later in the film that the sun will never set on the Wakandan empire WHILE T’Challa started out like his father but grew to realize IT WAS WRONG You cannot just stand by as the world burns and tears itself apart BUT at the same time you cannot just go and conquer everyone to bring about equality T’Challa is neither one side of the coin or the other but by the end of the film he is the balance like when you flip the coin and it lands perfectly on its edge.....

The actor the got to play young Tchaka is perfect cause he does favor Chadwick in ways, even in photos you can see theybway they even have that similar smirk. It makes it really believable that he is the Younger version of T'Challa's father and Klaws statement " you look just like your old man" actually fits...Along older Tchaka is believable being Tchallas father as well..and what's more fascinating is that both actors who play Tchaka are father and son. Talk about perfect casting

As much as I loved the actors who played T'chaka-John and Atandwa Kani-who were father and son-I always thought it was a wasted opportunity that they did not cast Djimon Hounsou as T'chaka. He had voiced T'challa himself in animated adaptations a couple of times and his presence as T'chaka would have been insane. Also, T'chaka's black panther suit? Uff. Too damn good.
@stevesmith1383
@stevesmith1383 2 жыл бұрын
Djimon Honsou was already in GOTG. And while we do have actors play multiple roles, it's normally not major ones. Like we had that actress go from ayong a Kree to playing an Eternal. But she was blue skinned as a Kree. Honestly if Djimon had gone with the blue skin as his character is supposed to have in the comics in the first place, then he could have easily been in Black Panther in some roles.

I've theorized for a while that BP2 will center around the kings and queens of Wakanda's past, and it's a story that is told to Shuri as she ascends to the throne after T'Challa's death. I cannot see what kind of a story could continue without T'Challa in the present day, but if they go backwards, that could be fascinating and also honor Chadwick and begin Shuri's story as the Black Panther.

Okay, but honesty I think protecting Zuri was just an excuse because you see he easily keeps him from shooting Zuri, he did not have to stab him after. He was angry at his brother for the betrayal, maybe didn't want to deal with the fallout or the council possibly sympathizing with his brother, or being challenged for the throne by him, ect. There's nothing in this scene that indicates to me that stabbing his brother was the only way to save Zuri. He chose to kill his brother and abandon his nephew.
@RobinXlone

and that little to no care for his own brother's life, and choosing a random spy over his brother, adds to his brothers point that Tchaka and wakanda dont care about other black people throughout the world and what they go thru. The scene actually hits harder when you hear what the guys were actually planning before T'Chaka arrived. According to the director, Ryan Coogler,, N'Jobu's wife was arrested and sentenced to prison for life. N'Jobu and "James" (Zuri) were actually planning on breaking his wife out. This also plays heavily into why N'Jobu was radicalized from the hardships the black people faced. That's why we never see Killmonger's mother.
