Your videos have been so helpful for me. I had so many misconceptions about portion control, dieting and eating healthy in general. I lost almost 15-16 kgs in 1.5 years without any hardcore diet, any hardcore exercise. My diet is very similar with yours, and it's been like this since last two years. Dieting dosen't drain me anymore because I get to have everything I want without gaining weight. Finding your channel was one of the best things that happened to me during pandemic. Your videos have been really helpful. I am not slim. But my skin, hair and overall health do indicate that my diet is on track. And it's because of the protein push and the balanced diet preach that you second. Food should not be boring and thats so true. Thank you for sharing knowledge

I really like your meal plan and the portion size. I would have loved to follow something similar but it's sooo tough to fight off a Bengali Mom's insistence that her child must have a big bowl of rice with at least 4 different kind of sabzis 🤣🤣 She literally packs my lunchbox to the brim...but it's still kind of okay since I share with my colleagues. But I can never get away from her dinner onslaught. She would feed me a big portion of rice + daal + 2 types of sabji + fish/chicken ka ekdam bengali style jhol. Her logic is "pura din toh kuch khaya hi nahi"🥲 I tried to make her understand about portions, carbs protein balance, calorie budget etc and she thought I was trying to starve myself to death or something😂😂😂

Sir my mom cooks for the family and like for 1.kg chicken or for any vegetables she uses 4 table spoons of olive oil.. now i get conscious cause as you said that we should use 1 to 2 table spoons or tea spoon to cook but my mom says that it's impossible to cook something which is great in quantity should i eat my mother vegetables? Since I am a student

No f way. He ate 50g chicken so around 14g protein + protein shake maybe 30g protein + eggs around 16g. So around 70-80 g protein that is

Hi Z, I have been following your videos for more than a year now and they've been the guiding source in my fitness journey. I wanted to ask you if there's specific kinds of food/meals/nutrients that affects specific parts of our body. So for example, I am very bothered by my flabby arms, now I know spot reduction isn't a thing (thanks to you) but is there specific types of food I should avoid to alleviate this concern of mine?

Hey! Just wanted to understand this - Isn't insulin response a factor for fat loss? While having icecream which might be within your calorie intake, doesn't it stop fat loss? Or is calorie deficit the only thing we should focus on? - Would love it if I get a response on this.

Its funny how our perception about things changes. When i was in india i used to think quinoa avocado salad were all fancy. I am a south indian now living in the US with an american husband. I now realise all the above mentioned things are not fancy after all. I do eat all of those things just because its healthy but i enjoy our simple indian food so much more 🥰
