Very cool video A month ago, I ended a five-year relationship. My soulmate made the decision to walk away from me, and even though I've done everything in my power to get him back, I can't help but feel disappointed because I can't see my life with anyone else. I want to say that I've tried everything to stop thinking about him, but I simply can't. I miss him so much and I don't know why I'm saying this here.

If it's only been a month and you still want to try with your ex, then you can reach out to your ex after the 30-day "no contact" period is over. In doing so, it's best to treat the situation with fresh eyes, so it's crucial to keep things fun and light and gently coax your ex into responding the same way. Here are the basics on what to do when it comes down to it. I also suggest you watch from start to the end and NOT skip any parts so you can maximize these tips: kzbin.info/www/bejne/bYHGl3qbf9aIj9E including asking yourself these very important questions to ask yourself before starting the process: kzbin.info/www/bejne/qmesZp5ratWheac but if you need the step-by-step process on what to do, including what to text or say during the process, either hire me as your coach, refer to my other vids or get the 2.0 version of my Ex Factor Guide at www.breakupbrad.com

I know how much it hurts, but take solace in the fact that you can go out and date other people, either to try and find someone else, or just to find someone to dull the pain. But for us guys...we have no such options. When we get dumped, it's gonna be many months or even years before we find someone who's willing to even go out with us.

30 days no contact is nothing. In these dynamics, one or both people are insecurly attached and need sometimes a year or more to work though issues in order to have healthy relationships. Unless this process has started, it will end the same way. If the avoidant partner doesnt want to work on it, dont expect anything different.
@breakupbradbrowning
@breakupbradbrowning 3 ай бұрын
If both parties have issues needed to be worked on, yes you're right, it take more time than usual. Not all avoidants are oblivious to how they treat their romantic partners though and some, although not all, seek treatment. It depends on which category your ex falls into.

@fuzzypanda1684

Missing you means absolutely nothing. If she "misses you", it just means she feels bad about breaking your heart and wants to keep you in her life as a friend so she doesn't have to feel bad about shattering the love, trust and connection you spent years building. It's all about ATTRACTION. If she's still attracted to you, then she'll miss you in a way where she wants to get back together. But if she's lost all attraction for you, like when she say, met another guy who gave her butterflies, then it's OVER. She doesn't want you back and any attempt she makes to keep you in her life, or if she tells you she needs "time to think", but wants to keep talking, it's just her trying to dump you for him, but not have to feel bad about it. Don't let her do that! If she's gonna dump you out of the blue, stop talking to her immediately! Make her feel at least SOME pain, don't let her cut you out of her life slowly or make you her friend so she experiences no pain. She drove a knife through your heart, and although there's nothing you can do to make her feel that level of pain, you can at least kick her in her shin.

While it's true your ex may miss you, it's definitely not to a degree where she wants to get back together -- yet. The bottom line is your ex has significantly lost attraction but my program is about trying to regain that lost attraction. Watch what I’ve explained here and watch the entire length of the video to gain full understanding, as well as know what to do: y2u.be/E9wG_ErBQoI It’s important to rebuild the attraction naturally so your ex will be amenable to working things out, eventually. Thanks for helping me have a better understanding Brad. I realized my ex is avoidant most likey due to her past. I was clingy and definitely had too many expectations and practically laser focused myself solely on her. After no contact, what do I do. Do I need to let her know that I've worked on myself? As well as letting her know I understand why she feels the way she does?

I don't know. I saw very closely how a woman broke up with a man she was in love with for years. And then the man really disapeared. Total no contact. Within some weeks the woman found another man and moved on. And when the ex finally sent some messages a year later she just did not care, the ex was nothing for her.

Hey Brad. I enjoy your videos except that I don't believe 30 days is a magic formula for a no-contact period. Instead I believe that indefinite no contact is the way to go. THEY have to come to YOU. Also just wondering whether age gaps can be a factor? My ex, with whom I was falling in love after 3 months of dating (plus he'd asked me out 3 times over 7 years - COVID lockdown got in the way on the last occasion but we finally got together Feb 2024) is 15 years younger than me (although I look the same age as him - if anything I look younger as he's a bit overweight). As he didn't have the manners to given me even ONE reason why he disappeared, I have no idea if the age thing is it, or if it's something else. I have been in strict no contact for the past 2 months now and do not plan on breaking it, even though he had a big milestone birthday last weekend. I myself dated and was briefly engaged to a man who was 18 years older than me so I don't believe age gaps in themselves are insurmountable barriers.

Yes, it's never the magic pill for a breakup. Getting an ex back is a process so there's really no one-step solution to get what you want. However, if your ex is worth it, you can do a series of steps which is what my channel (and my updated 2.0 version Ex Factor Guide) is all about. You should be able to find lots of information on how to get your ex back by doing all the right steps on my channel here, so check out my other videos as well. They're completely free and comes at no cost to you. Here's one which should hopefully help: y2u.be/7JtmVbDkblw Lots of people have found success with it, maybe you can, too. You can also leave me a brief description of what you're going through. I always respond to comments. Just please keep it concise as I try to answer to as many comments as I can. Good luck!

It’s hard when you have kids
@breakupbradbrowning

If you have kids and/or other responsibilities still tied to your ex, it's best you do limited contact or what I call the dynamic "no contact" rule instead of the full on silence associated with the no contact rule. I stupidly suggested(many times) to meet up (he lives bit far from me), to go somewhere…and then he said that he feels pressured 🙈 and broke up with me AGAIN! What alot of KZbin videos leave out is that unless both partners with insecurities work on becoming more secure, the same dynamic will play out. These issues don't just go away with no contact or using tactics. If he reaches out again you can ask whats changed with him. If the answer is nothing, you can decide to walk away.

It's based on human psychology so it applies to your ex, so apply the 30-day "no contact" rule. I'm more concerned about your boyfriend/ex helping you out though. Did you mean financially? If so then that could be the main reason why he ended things with you and is not happy. A relationship isn't a charity case and you wouldn't want to make it feel like one in the first place, so do your best to work on and help yourself first, yeah? Relationships work best if there's teamwork instead of one pulling the other one up all the time. Take care!

@@martinwhyment-cm1bn I appreciate ur idea but I think I screwed up. We recently meet up because she needed my help so I nicely accepted. We chat about each other's life and what we been up too and everthing seemed normal. We even when out to eat and of course more chatting. And at the end she wanted to make more plans with me and wanted to go to a concert only the two of us but I really wasn't sure because I was still not fully healed and really wasn't sure about her attentions. So I accepted without and second thought. I came home and I was overthinking about the vidoes I watched about if I was beaing to available or she was using me just to get over me because it's only been 18 days of no contact and I felt like beaing used. So I contact her to let her know how I feel about her future plans with me. She got upset 😥. She told me if I didn't wanna see her then don't come see me. I told her I still had feelings and wasn't sure if she did too but if I continue hangout out with her the only one going get hurt is me. And at the end she only said don't come see me if u don't wanna see me. So honestly I screwed up and really ain't sure if I did the right thing. Did i let my emotions out so soon? Or am i in the right for letting her know how I felt? 😓 I still love her but I think I missed my opportunity.

I’m just a stranger on the internet, so take my advice however you like, but if even if he does come back to you, you should pay very close attention to his behavior, and keep paying attention. I don’t know how you broke up with him but if you gave him time to get right, and you should really consider how much time you gave him and how much you demanded (not saying you did it wrong, just telling you to think critically about it), then he still made the choice to not fix his behavior. If he comes back and doesn’t respond to your needs in the slightest, then he doesn’t understand and he’s not trying to. And if he says sorry and goes strong but only for a few weeks, then you still need to maintain your standard. In other words, you might want to rethink if you even want him back. If he’s not the right partner and won’t be responsive or considering then it’s not going to ever work out, sorry.
