I was watching a reflection of me on the internet and I instantly was happy to see that. As a masculine presenting woman, I’m expected to be ( a dude, a manly man, hard performing) and I’m not. That is not naturally “me” and how I speak/interact with the world. The masculine thing about me is my clothing from undergarments to dress clothes. I love men clothing period. I’m just more comfortable that way but I’m not a man. Don’t read me as such. I’m very soft compared to the studs on Hoochie Daddies. I was terrified watching that. 😅 I get misgendered all the time but I don’t care, don’t bother correcting people because I know who I am underneath all the clothing. I’m very proud to be a Woman. 13:49 This is a realisation I had only recently as well (Cancer ♋️ speaking). As a lesbian, I've always struggled with the idea of labelling my gender. I wear men's clothes 80% of the time, my hair has been short for years, and it's so easy for ppl to put ME in a box and label me a man on first glance. In the early years of coming out to myself, that made me think - "oh, well I must be a stud then, I must be more domineering in how I act, I must lower my voice it's too high" etc because I looked more masculine to others. When you realise you have the power to knock them boxes away and exist unapologetically, with minimal effort, you see yourself thrive. Flash cut to the present, still got the short hair, still have predominantly men's clothes but have some women's clothes too. I still have a soft face and very feminine voice. I'm comfortable with the woman I am at my core and I don't care about the ppl who can't fit the idea of my existence in their head. Let them have the headaches not me x I've watched your videos for over six years and it's amazing to see your growth. Keep going you got this fam. I’m not sure if you’re an astrology girlie but one thing I noticed about Leos is that they often get painted as being selfish and self centered but they are really some of the most selfless people ever. Like atrociously generous and helpful. They have a hard time saying no because they truly don’t feel like anyone is competition.. they are very fond of community but must be careful about who they create community with. Actually, part of a Leo’s journey is knowing to put themselves first. And when they step into that power it is a beautiful thing. I’m happy for these positive changes you’ve made & I completely agree with having the mindset that things aren’t happening to us, that we have more power over our situations than it seems. As an example, I got sick a few days ago & im recovering. But my go-to response was “I got sick because I haven’t been eating as clean as I could’ve been” instead of thinking “my sister’s coworkers got her sick & then she got me sick.” No one intentionally inflicted this upon me. And maybe I still would’ve gotten sick if I had been eating healthier but maybe it wouldn’t have been as bad or lasted as long. Anyway, wishing you the best & a very happy birthday 🎊

I feel you on every single one of these points. 18 years into my professional career & 13 years as an amateur athlete taught me that those folks didn’t actually deserve the open access to me that I gave to them. My relationships suffered & so did my health in a major way. Organizational PTSD is a whole thing. I’m still learning to not rev the engine harder & instead choose the eggs (literally happened to me this week; I was working & not eating so I made eggs before I responded to an unnecessarily dramatic Slack message). I also officially asked my director to move me to a different client. I had to choose myself before my health sat me down (again). It’s still a struggle but I’m learning. I still ain’t too sure about my therapist (she vapes during our sessions & doesn’t say much 😒) but it’ll get there. Sending good energy to everyone just putting one foot in front of the other.
