Hey Tommo! If I won the tickets I would love to take my dad to the race. He was the person who got me into F1. I can fondly remember many a Sunday afternoon in South Africa watching the races with him as a young boy. I would love to take him to at least one race for him to experience the true joy of F1 to say thank you for all the wonderful memories he has given me through introducing me to this great sport.

My hot take if I may: the 2023 regs were an attempt to bring F1 closer to a virtual spec series where one single philosophy of car design would perform best and therefore every team would HAVE to fall in line with that design philosophy if they wished to stay competitive. Ofc F1 can't go about marketing the regs as a virtual spec series, hence we got all the waffle about how the 2022 cars were "different", when now its just 2023 and pretty much all of them have lost their visually distinct characteristics. I would certainly take Tommo with me to the GP because then I can waffle on with him about all such debates and enjoy the race with top quality company!

Cool interviews. Definitely some interesting perspectives. Like many other people, I would take my father, as he was the one who got me into F1. While neither of us have ever seen a race in person, my father worked security in the Brazilian Grand Prix venue sometime in the 80s (when it was in Rio), and even got a chance to meet the nation hero, Ayrton Senna! Still, it sucks to be so close to a race and not be able to see it.

Moved cross country a couple of years ago, did'nt know anyone but we managed to build a strong bond by watching the races together and learning about the sport. In my line of work, being able to trust your coworkers is so incredibly important so you could say formula 1 made my workplace a safer place. Hungaroring is his favourite track aswell which is a nice touch.

I totally agree with the No-Goat Take. Machinery has always been such a strong factor, it just isn't comparable. For Hungary I would take my best mate who got me back into F1 in 2017. Together we went to Spa 2021, but as we all know, that trip sorta watered down.. would love to give a live race another chance though!

Carlos Sainz fans were out in force this past weekend, lots of debate around Sainz vs Leclerc online too. I somewhat agree with Tony. If you're a Ferrari fan, you have to be thankful we have two drivers we have. Their peaks are very simillar and their strengths complement each other such that, if channeled and handled correctly by the team, we would be consistently comptitive. Both Charles and Carlos just need to be consistently good and the team need to return the F1-75, but a more reliable version.

I think the 'Charles Leclerc making too many mistakes' is a bit of a myth. Last year he only really messed up in Imola and France. This year was Miami quali. On the other hand, Carlos who is considered Mr. Consistent has cost his team far more with his mistakes.

My unpopular opinion: Charles Leclerc will never win a race with Ferrari again. Explanation: Given the current situation, I see RedBull and Max keep dominating for at least the next 2 seasons. In the first 10 races of 2023, we have never seen both Red Bull drivers mess up, and moreover we have seen Ferrari do well only twice. Maybe by the end of 2024 or by 2025 if RedBull is caught, it will be Aston or Mercedes doing that. And then it will become even more difficult for Ferrari to win. I definitely see him getting sprint wins, but not a proper race win. What do you guys think?

I'm honestly baffled that people are surprised at the dislike for Hamilton....he is extremely dislikable, especially personally. He is arrogant with a mask of false humility, he is preachy and typically woke, an attention grabber of the first order. As a driver, he "praises" the team (again, completely and transparently fake) and complains incessantly when things aren't perfect for him (his true sporting personality showing through)..... if you can't tell already, I'm not a fan. I also believe his career numbers are exaggerated by a phenomenal Mercedes car and team over those seasons where he was only really racing his teammates.

My dad and I haven’t always had the best relationship but Formula 1 has given us something to bond over and has helped us grow closer together and heal some rifts from the past. I would love to take him to a race. I know he’d love it, I know I’d love it, and I don’t get to see my dad very often anymore because I moved away for school. I would take my Dad because he’s been following Formula one for 40 years and never managed to go to a Grand Prix. He introduced me to Formula one during the early 2010s when I would wake up very early as kid 😂 and we’d watch the races in Japan and Australia that started at 6 here in the Uk. Being able to watch a GP live with him would be amazing.
