I’m an 18 year old high school student who rarely cooks. My parents thought I could only make Maggie, but I surprised them with this chicken tikka dish They loved it so much and said it tasted like a restaurant dish. The chicken tikka was juicy and flavourful alone and the sauce was amazing. I felt so proud of myself. Thank you chef for your wonderful recipe❤

I cooked this yesterday but with few measurement changes as was cooking with 1kg chicken. And instead of tawa grilling i grilled them in ovem @250 for 20 mins. Final result was just awesome. Dish tasted exactly like restaurant. Husband n kids loved it (bit spicy for the kids though, even after turning down the heat compared to original measurments). Have tried your other recipes too n all of them have turned out yummy! Thanks for sharing such amazing recipes

Great recipe. Also thank you for telling us the difference between the two widely popular recipes. However, I have questions, that need answers. 1. Ginger garlic: In your first marinade, you added Ginger garlic chilli paste 2 tablespoons and "salt to taste". In the next marinade, you added Ginger garlic chilli paste 1 teaspoon with salt again. Following this in the OTM gravy, you added 8-10 cloves of garlic + 1 inch of ginger and yet, salt again. Finally, in the onion-tomato bhuna gravy, you added chopped garlic once again with ginger julienned as garnishing and salt again. Bhai, ye zyada nahi ginger garlic salt nahi ho jaega for 500 gram of chicken thighs? 2: Onion tomato ratios: Same goes for onions and tomato required. 2 onions for OTM + 6-7 for bhuna masala (in total 8-9). For tomatoes, 6-7 in the OTM + 3 for bhuna masala, totalling 10-11 tomatoes for a 500 grams of chicken thighs. I want to know whether these are correct proportions or a bit too much? Lastly, doesn't adding honey to heated gravy makes it toxic? Please let me know if some one has any ideas?

Use your own judgment.today i made butter chicken, i reduced the garlic butbkept the tomatoes the same. One time i made afghani chicken from zaika dilli 6 channel, with the huge amount of garlic she added in it. No one in my family could eat the chicken because of so much garlic i had to throw it away. Worst still i made it in ramadan and we were looking forward to eating it.

I made this recipe today and tried to follow the instructions to the T, I might have not included maybe an ingredient or 2 which I didn't have in the pantry, but it's turned out amazing.
