Youtube likes me

Caution! This video contains swearing. I like to swear sometimes. It's a stylistic device or whatever. Bear with it.
Also, before you all ask, my hand is bandaged because my hand lost the battle of hand against bread knife. Four stiches, if you want to know.
One thing about my channel background:
Obviously drawn by myself (you must recogize my style by now), the strange creatures at the border have been originally designed by one of my pupils during French vocabulary revision. They were meant to make a memory game to practise singular and plural. Jakob, 11 years old, drew "un chien", "des chiens". Yes, they're dogs. Oh come on, they're the best dog drawings I've ever seen and I wish I would've come up with them! I love them!

To remember the speed of light in meters per second: "We guarantee certainty, clearly referring to this light mnemonic." (Count the number of letters in each word: 299,792,458). So that's that informative box.

I think the tinkerer's drill looks somewhat like a laser gun, which I somehow find very appropriate (maybe because "it'll look better when it's painted" comes to mind when I consider something being cut by someone wielding a laser gun). I like the idea of the changing thing on the banner! Maybe it doesn't have to be educational? My physics teacher likes to start every class by writing a quote on the board (she doesn't force us to read it, its just a background for the classroom). She does stuff obvious like Einstein quotes, and she also, sometimes, does more obscure quotes. A good idea might be to have a quote that has a slight relation to your newest video, and change the banner with each vid. Keep up the great work & DFTBA!!!

I like the banner. I think it's a great way to inform newer viewers who may not be up to speed on all of yourselves about what each outfit is meant to represent. I don't find it patronizing, either. In my experience, I rarely visit a channel page after I've already subbed, I just link from my subbox unless I'm looking for a particular video and can't remember the title, so I think it will be mostly newer viewers that see it. That's just my logic, maybe I'm crazy. *shrug*

Just so you're aware the drawings on the side of your page don't always show up. It depends on how you have your Internet Browser set up with how much it's zoomed in or out. I personally had to zoom it out cause I'm on a Laptop and can't read small text from how far away I sit. Other than that though it looks great and keep up the great work. You always make me laugh! Oh and if you ever want to learn how to speak American, as opposed to British I can help there, born & raised in California,

I love your videos...they're so cute! Also, the banner is nice. I like the descriptive words. I think they're helpful...or something...not patronizing, at any rate. One comment about pronunciation: in mnemonic, the first "m" is silent, so it sounds like nemonic, not menemonic. For some reason, English really enjoys having random letters start words that sound like they should simply start with "n" (gnat, knot, pneumonia...).

@OrthodoxAnarchy No, that was actually filmed last week. If you look close enough, you see snow through the fence in the background. It was freezing cold, but as I had established at some point, that greenie should always be in the garden, surrounded by chickens and ...green, I had to find a pretend-it-isn't-winter spot and get into my t-shirt. Ah, the things I do for this channel... ;)

I don't think that teaching has to be redundant, (though repetition by the learner is necessary in most cases); The redundancy issue arrives in teaching to two or more pupils - because of the various ways that individuals learn: Verbal, Visual, Tactile, Kinaesthetic. If you have a class then you have to cover all of these to make sure that no one is being left out, (unless you can detect that all of the pupils in one class learn in the same way.) I'd be interested to know if you have found this.
