One of the things I have learned while studying different cults is that they share one key thing in common: the dependency on physicality, which ranges from smooth talking to putting on theatrics. Granted it's their strength, but also ironically their downfall. In short, as long as there are attention-seekers there will always be people doing over-the-top crap, especially when they have an internet connection. And I have noticed this sad pattern, the more a person tries to make themselves feel apart of something radical, the more they are admitting they feel misplaced in the world and trying to numb that reality. In the end, like trends on Twitter or KZbin, they die off... especially when they don't get the reaction they want to feed their lust for being the center of attention. I always ask this to any zealot, If what you believe in is so ultimate, so powerful, why go to great lengths to prove it is? Shouldn't your ideals be strong enough to defend themselves if they are as omnipotent as you make them out to be? Not 100% convinced of this, and i refuse to jump to conclusions pre-maturely. This might be another half-assed "zoomer" cult trying to outshine Jim Jones or L. Ron Hubbard. Perhaps its people putting on a show once again. It's up to us to make it an issue or not.

I think it has to do with the Vatican themselves not espousing literal interpretations of the bible (except for events involving the life of Jesus), but rather a symbolic and spiritual one (for example, genesis and revelations). The Vatican is very pro-science when compared to other Christian sects and they’ve even got their own labs and observatories. It seems like a lot of people who buy into the flat earth and reptilian conspiracies are either baptist or Protestant as they’re more decentralised groups with a wider spectrum of beliefs, so it’s much easier for even more sects to branch off. That isn’t to say no Catholics believe in them, just that the only a few in comparison.

I don’t blame KZbin. A lot of stuff slips under the radar cause there’s just so much content on KZbin. A lot of sites have had these kinds of problems cause the internet is vastly uncontrollable. There’s no chance of irradiating all content like this. I’m sure if it’s brought to their attention they’ll take care of it like they did with the incidents of videos of kids in compromising positions being uploaded and comments full of time stamps. After a few KZbinrs acknowledged this, videos were taken down and accounts were banned. But of course when one account is taken down, 10 more pop up in its place. People also learn how to adapt to censors and flagging by changing how they operate.

It's really not that different from people in more well-known religions including their kids in their faith.
