Hey, just an fyi, the desert eagle actually shoots a bullet called .50 AE (Action Express) the caliber that most people think of when they hear .50 is the .50 BMG (Browning Machine Gun) the .50 AE is about 1.6 inches long whereas the .50 BMG is just shy of 4 inches long, big difference in actuality though it's a tiny difference within the naming conventions, love the content keep up the good work

Juat to give an idea of how big a .50cal bullet is, .50 cal is half an inch wide. The Desert Eagle can be chambered in .50AE (action express). It isn't .50 Browning Machine Gun, but it's still a big bullet.

Also for anyone not very knowledgeable in firearms, The Desert Eagle has multiple variants that shoot different calibers. There’s a .44 Magnum, .357 Magnum, and .50AE. Now .50AE is not the same as a .50BMG. So while they are both “50 caliber” the BMG has far more power behind it. The .50AE (to my knowledge) is not used in any sniper due to it being a pistol caliber so Papa is incorrect in saying it’s the same round used in snipers. A .50BMG is so powerful it is classified as an “anti-material round” as it can slide through solid concrete like paper. The main difference too is that .50AE is a pistol cartridge while .50BMG is a rifle cartridge. Regardless, they are extremely powerful and these stunts should not be done like this or at all. No matter the cartridge, don’t shoot at someone you dont intend to kill. This guy was a fan of guntubers like FPSRussia, Brendon Herrera, and Demolition Ranch but at least Brendon and Demo have safety standards they have for their videos. They may do goofy things like how many blocks of cheese can stop a bullet but the difference is, they are shooting from behind cover towards empty areas, and the bullets are striking ballistics gel or mannequins or fake human gel bodies.

Person who knows a little about guns here, The desert eagle chambered in 50 AE is not the same as a sniper rifle bullet. I'm guessing he was referring to 50 BMG. Drastically different cartridges. Though the 50 AE is a very powerful round. The desert eagle also comes in 44 Magnum and 357 Magnum. It's unique amongst handguns because it can fire rimmed cartridges along with its gas piston system and rotating AR style bolt. All that being said, All of those cartridges are powerful and none of them should be shot towards another person no matter what's in front of them to stop it.

The guy with an interest in trains that's awaiting trial: 1. An avid train enthusiast witnesses a train divert to the wrong tracks and strike a train-car. Assuming that it was a switch in the wrong position, isn't far-fetched. It's a bit of a "DUH" for anyone that knows railroads and railyards. 2. The guy frequents the area often as a train enthusiast that records trains in his local area. This guy being in the area makes sense. He's been here time and time again without incident. The guy that's always around here recording manages to record a minor train accident. There were over 100,000 train incidents in the USA over the last 10 years. The chances of this guy recording when one happens locally are pretty high. 3. Whoever left that switch thrown to the wrong position probably will let this kid cook... versus losing a job, getting sued, being run out of the industry etc. Considering all of the scumbags that will put your life in jeopardy just to get one car-length ahead... being a scapegoat isn't far-fetched. Unless someone has some hard evidence of this kid going into the switch station and pulling the switch, you're not going to get a conviction absent of a confession.

I watched his video before learning about this controversy. I literally said "if I didn't know any better, I'd say he tampered with the switch". I was not surprised to read about him being charged later. That being said, unless they have him on video throwing the switch, or his fingerprints, or a confession, I don't think it can be proven beyond a reasonable doubt. All we know is someone threw the switch after the car was set out, and this kid seems sus but innocent until proven guilty.

It is entirely possible kid was a train enthusiast (which do exist btw look it up, those guys will camp in the middle of nowhere just to see their favorite train go by) in the wrong place at the wrong time. Unless there is evidence like video footage of him pulling the switch, fingerprints, or a confession. It cannot be proven that he is guilty.
