I was a bit of a shithead in highschool, and early in my senior year I thought it would be funny to tell a friend I had cancer. I have no idea why I thought it was a good idea. When I told him, the first thing he did was give me a hug and tell me it was gonna be okay, and I knew immediately that I'd fucked up. I felt very ashamed.
