Harry Potter mostly focuses on magic, which kinda.. trumps the whole "school" thing lol. I love learning so yeah I love school, but I don't like the current school system where I'm at. I'd prefer magic school to whatever the fuck I had to go through.

Yeah it made me sad to hear that he was involved in any way with MGK, though I wasn’t exactly surprised as their music sounds the exact same lol. Saw him live last year when he opened for a band I actually like and despite not enjoying his music, he brought such energy to the stage that I liked the performance regardless. It’s just a shame that such talent (because stage presence absolutely is a talent) has been wasted on such shitty artistic endeavors.

Well, uh.. critiques are a part of criticism... that's where the word comes from lol Unwarranted criticism is never fun to hear, so nobody can blame you for being upset at that. But if you're getting justified criticism, even if it's unwarranted, the best thing to do is to focus on empathy first: think about how the other person may be feeling in this situation. Maybe they do genuinely want the best for you. If you know them well enough to know they have no good intentions, then you can tell them to fuck right off!

@@nomoretwitterhandles Thank you, It's always nice to hear someone else's perspective. I have autism and CPTSD, a lot of what I feel gets internalized and gets me very emotional. As a child I had to hide a lot of outward stems (moving weird, fidgeting, spinning) that would be off putting to others. I was and still am trying to hide myself to not make others uncomfortable. I over empathize, and internally I get mad at myself if i do make others uncomfortable. I was criticized and made fun of until i had no natural way of calming myself when I got overwhelmed. It all became internalized. I'm working on it (with doctors) but your 100% right. Some criticism is ok, a reminder i tell myself daily. lol Sorry for the info dump. :)

Yeah, I have autism and my family was super amazing but school made me afraid when I was criticized. Because at school when people did things wrong they were yelled at, so I picked up to do everything I should do immediately after I’m told to. So at home when I was asked to do anything that I couldn’t do immediately(like clean my room when it’s night and someone is already sleeping in it) even if I was expected to do it later it made me scared. To the point where at some points I would literally put my head into a crash position whenever someone got even a little confrontational. Criticism is hard to take, especially for autistic people like us. Things normal for everything else can just mess us up. Have a great day
