Hey boss, I buy ALOT of stuff from Z1. I was looking at this exact same product ( thanks for helping me decide on the 25 row, btw) and the instructions are in the page of this product. With torque specs for bolts. Nice Z and nice install.

Yeah I was glad they made right and sent me the correct bracket and all so I could finish properly. Thanks so much for showing some love and checking out the video!

this kit was design to be bolt on for the 350z with a DE engine. in you car that has an HR engine has to use the kit they send you that comes in the 370z kit, I have the 25 row with a oil pan spacer and lower my temp in trafic 10 degrees, just love it

Definitely a must! I have a Greddy oil pan that holds an extra quart of oil I still need to install. Should help temps even more.

Could have mounted it to the crash bar , but , you don’t have one , if you screwed to the back side of that bar , not the one you have , but , you could have tilted it out of the way , when not using it , or just bought the larger oil pan with baffles ,

True and if I were better with welding it would’ve been ideal to create brackets to mount it to the tubular style bash bar that I got. And it’s funny you mention the larger oil pan as I actually have that sitting in a box still waiting to go on the car. Figured next oil change will be perfect time to throw it on. 😎

People don’t really need oil coolers , unless they have a dedicated track car , i think oil that has been run hard , should be cooled , but , by an external system , like a power steering cooler with electric fan , oil pulled out of the pan by an electric pump , pumped back into the other side of the pan , only used when the car is shut off ,,,,

@@koachs77 thanks for the insight! the original plan was to track this car way more often than I actually have so I was trying to have the foresight to do mods like this to help prolong the life of the engine. Im very much of a novice when it comes to track setups. When researching key components to tackle some of the top items that popped up were cooling, brakes, and tires. I tried to address all 3 with the oil cooler, upgraded rotors, pads, calipers, and brake fluid. Then some wider Nitto tires. I hope this year to get the car on the track at minimum twice. Main goal is to have a reliable car to get me to and from the track without the use of a trailer.

Have you noticed it helped with the temp?? I live in AZ and man has my car been getting hot just from daily driving it. Im really considering spending the money on the oil cooler if it helps keep the car temp low
@ChaosCarClub2 жыл бұрын
Unfortunately I don’t actually have an oil temp gauge so I can’t say 100% …everything I read in the forums prior to installing this on my car said it was a good bang for the buck. In a hot climate like Arizona I would probably step up to a 34 row cooler to help keep temps down. Could always do an oversized oil pan to increase oil capacity. That helps with temperature too.

@@ChaosCarClub im willing to try whatever to improve this issue.. its soooo hot 🤣.. thanks my guy!

How has the kit held up after two years of installation?
@ChaosCarClub Жыл бұрын
Held up flawlessly. No issues or leaks. The Z isn’t quite a daily driver as it was when I did the install but has been through several oil changes since.

After putting the oil cooler on do you still fill the car with the normal amount of oil? Or add extra to fill the cooler
@ChaosCarClub3 жыл бұрын
Have to add more than normal to accommodate the extra that gets used to fill the cooler. It took roughly half a quart extra this first time with the 19 row set up. When I do the first oil change I’m guessing it will be less as not all will drain out. Just what is remaining in the lines.

Bro, after install do you have any issue of oil pressure
@ChaosCarClub3 жыл бұрын
Nah car runs same afterwards. Haven’t noticed any difference in pressure at all. Just have the stock pressure gauge but it’s been reading identical to before the install
