14 people have no idea what real music is.... Being from Denver this song touched me when my wife from Alabama called me and told me she wanted me to listen to this. On the edge of a divorce from a rocky military marriage the last few years. This song touched me and made me rethink everything, it was so on point with everything we were going through! Miracles truly do happen. My daughter Alexis is due in June. This one goes out to Jesus Christ and Zac thanks man this changed my life.

Wow I can relate to this right now. The guy I have feelings for lives a couples hours away but we are in a very winter state so it's hard for him to get down to see me sometimes. I normally don't listen to country, but a buddy of mine from the 101st turned me on to this tune. Man was the best 240 gunner in the Army. Anyway, he's also the most knowledgeable person regarding real music that I know. Sorry for the long preamble, this is a great, great song. Imagine the ability to write the music, and more importantly the lyrics, then finally to be able to replicate it live basically naked on stage. That takes equal parts tremendous talent and courage. I don't want you, but I need you. That kind of sums it up.

I never knew my grandfather, he died when I was a baby. The first time this played on the radio my mom made the comment that my grandpa was a rambling man. It's a lot easier to appreciate country when you find out there is more to it, than formulaic Nashpop that all sounds the same and features every trope they can think of.
