A week ago I got a 45 days old labrador and searched for puppy training videos. I find your videos so different from other trainers and much more friendly to the dogs.Your way is unique and I try my best to follow your guidance and make my puppy think and learn. We still got a problem with mouthing but I believe with patience and consequence we will make it. I'd love to see a video from you about the dog's health care (vaccines, bathing frequency, nail clipping etc). Love your work, greetings from Greece!

Zak, I am a father of 4 and finally got our first puppy 1 week ago. I stumbled on your Vlog and book. It has literally been 1 week and with your amazing book and guidance, she can already leave-it, sit, stay, shake and come and out. She is now acclimated to her crate and even goes in on her own from time to time. She is a red goldendoodle named Kennedy and your assistance has been invaluable. Now if we can just work on the occasional accident we will be good to go!

Sayan Bhattacharya Rotties are on a whole nother level of breed . Rotties were bred as guard dogs . A rottie will kill anything in it's path just for you . It's important to socialize them to dogs and humans. They are really powerful dogs , you can get one but there's more responsibility in them .

I appreciate this video. My step-father brought home a 13 week old male rottie a few years ago, My sister & I took on training him and things were going very well. He would get kind of pushy as he got older but we had corrected it enough times, he grew out of being a jerk. He was our little 'brother'. He'd even protect our cats from everything. Even the glare from our glass doors lol. Fast forward, I moved out, my sister isn't home often and my parents spoiled and 'de-trained' him. They reward him when he does bad. When he shows aggression? he is praised, when he grabs something thats not his? he is given a treat- HE challenges everyone and isn't a worst case scenario but It hurt and made me angry to see my efforts all for nothing. I love him still, but I can continually retrain him, I correct him when I am home and he listens but it's like when I or my sister leave the room he becomes a jerk-- Thing is; I can't train my parents. Rottweilers are so majestic, it just takes a moron to screw it up.

All training had to be stopped immediately cos she underwent operations on both hind legs last week. I've had 45 dogs up to my 68 years and this is the last puppy I'll ever get and I had to get a "terror" at this old age of mine. Your videos are so helpful and full of entertainment. Love it.
