These are 80Ω and I have the VENTED PADS. I would choose those and if you want more bass there are a ton of aftermarket pads that will fit!

Z Reviews Yes, I also thought that. They are very similar in shape and diameter to the likes of Brainwavz and Dekoni, so you can go with other materials and get a slightly tweaked sound that most likely will still be enjoyable. Does these stock pads have memory foam or a foam that has some sort of memory? Edit: It would be interesting if you put Brainwavz XL Fenestrated on these

Imaging, or soundstage, or both? Imaging is the ability to locate sounds precisely. Soundstage is a measure of distance. Sometimes, but not always, the two negatively effect each other. Finding a can that can do both well is very rare and usually only in the ultra high end headphones. Although I like beyerdynamic otherwise, what I don't like is the distorted midrange and dagger like highs on their midrange headphones.

Dude you do pretty personal reviews and ya got a great listings on your reddit guides, although i feel that there is a need to have more specifications in there when it comes to comparison in between each comparable headphone on the list that lies on the same level(entry-mid-hi), cause I am fairly recent to this audiophilia(or hi-fi, or whatnot) and everytime you review a good product, to your ears, sometimes i lack points of reference to the ones that were previously reviewed(and imo lie on the same level taking your points of reference in mind, like comfort, soundstage, open-back, in this case you compare to the fidelio's which is great cause I always had them on my possible upgrade). I got no headphones for home currently, just porta pro's for about 4 years, which i obviously use them everywhere, and am very satisfied with, bought a dragonfly red which i have been playing with both speakers and headphones and am also very satisfied with the upgrade and the possibilities they have opened me, someone who had no external amp or dac or anything. And I will be upgrading my headphones not now nor in the near future(just hopefuly by the end of the year or next) but I'm still fairly confused on what to get cause i'm just getting really into the detail and warm sound. Right now I was looking at either an ath-m60x to replace the porta pros completely, akg k712 pro to still be regularly using porta pros while having a very accurate and big soundstage as i was inclined to believe it even replaced the X2's, the MK3's for a tank with a lot of upgrade value, i was looking a lot into the 1+ triple driver but seems like a fun niche i won't properly appreciate right now(will keep it in the list and probably buy them for having my fun little closed back experience for movie watching or something, iunno)...i really wanted something that'll keep me satisfied for quite the amount of years for home listening and choosing mainly open-backs not only for the freedom but cause i want a jack of all, and that includes being a pair of gaming headphones... Can anyone give me some hints? First off as of right now the vokyl erupt will be no good for now cause i'm from portugal, aka shipping will be an hassle, but since i got time...quite a lot of it...would it be worth considering over the price-value that the k712's seem to offer? I am quite oblivious on this so let me try to be a little more descriptive, I like bass but definetly not a bass-head, I have fun with extra detail, to me the porta pros were one hell of a deal for their price for their neutral sound and simplistic and efficient comfort(i don't use glasses except when i'm on a screen and wearing them were discomfort-free), i can try to be more descriptive but i don't know if anyone read through all of this anyway sooo... Thaaaaanks!

@dillacorn_linux6 жыл бұрын
They are 80ohm. He said they were more impressive than some plannars he has listened too. They prob have deep bass like he mentioned but prob just sound wide and clean from what I understood. They are being called gaming headphones so I doubt they are dark sounding. He even said it was hard for him to explain, and the easiest part to explain was how wide they are. I personally think they are not going to be good for acoustic listening from the sound of it. Zeos likes to overexaggetate headphones a lot I personally think like he did with the HD 58X. The HD 660 S is still the better headphone because I have tried both. For gaming specifically though the HD 58X and 660 S both do fine. This headphone will prob be more entertaining for gaming due to the sound stage as he mentioned several times.

@Zeos Earlier backer here. Curious to know your thoughts of these vs Ether C flow (how close do they get). Massdrop is doing a collaboration with Dan; Ether CX. Wondering if I should pick them up (music and gaming)

Zeos been inactive for a year. Cause youtube doesn't show me your vidz anymore.What closed back headphones under 100 are the best ? Is the Status Audio CB-1 still the best ?

Nowadays you could find the m40x for under 100 aftermarket. And the imaging for the kcs75s are superb for 10+.

Wanted them the day the video dropped. Finally today I have them paid for. £130 delivered with dekoni elite fenestrated pads too. Even the hate they've got since this I'm counting it as a win!
