Another tip. When dealing with good archers, I've noticed that when I knock their bow out and they have something like the bastard sword, they tend to get really aggressive and fairly good. As soon as they get their bow knocked out of their hands and switch their weapon, they'll be expecting another swing. Feint as soon as they pull their weapon out. 9/10 times they'll fall for it and block. Depending on the weapon, this feint swing usually kills.

Actually that shit is gay as fuck. That perk forces you to waste points on it because it's a straight up damage boost just so you can stand a chance fighting against other archers. It makes archer battles more boring at the same time because they end in one shot kills more often instead of people needing to be good enough to land follow up shots.
@AedFuidan5 жыл бұрын
Tip me and my friends use a lot. When you're facing a rapier or spear user who combos stabs. Chambering is the way to go, but if they spam only stabs it just leads to a chamber chain, however you can actually MORPH a chamber after blocking the enemies stab, into a slash of your own thus giving you most likely a free hit.
@ethanruigrok79465 жыл бұрын
Thing is, chamber looping becomes mostly a game of who runs out of stamina first. And if you're the first to chamber, it'll usually be you. The morphing thing is mostly correct when you're fighting noobs. But a average player will know how to block a morphed attack. The best way to go is to feint a block out and cut their head right off since most Rpier/Spear spammers wear no armour for some reason, though when i started i found it hard to find a good timestamp to start a feint, you kind of just instinctually figure out how to beat them after a while.
@celticcursegaming42775 жыл бұрын
Good video! Something I've found is that if you catch people out with the target feint they will usually try and parry your followup, so if you catch someone out with your target switch feint your next move.

Sometimes Archers take high places to help their team, but these guys I find on their lonesome more often than not. If you REALLY wanna be dirty, you can steal that archers bow and take a few pot-shots at his own team. It will only have 3 shots, but you're probably behind the enemy team rather than your own, so you'll likely hit an enemy. Of course, the archer himself will be pissed and probably come back with a firey vengence, but you can snipe him with his own bow, not to mention you probably have better armor.

People who have fought me say "I move weird" or "You don't move at all." or "Your dodge make you look floating". I'm not a good fighter in Mordhau, but I'm really good in building tensions and distracting the enemy. Most people who are aggressive suddendly become defensive, people who are defensive, suddendly have the urge to punch me in the face. I make people uncomfortable and it looks like they enjoy it? The best ones are "Why don't you get a helmet?" By the way. Don't be scared to turn your back like he said in the video. You can make a turn and still spin your weapon to deal damage. Make them uncomfortable to attack you in the first place and they will even avoid to attack you while your back is turned towards him.

They need to nerf all weapons in general because you can hitscan people with your weapon sticking out and touching them... A thrust, at the end of the animation where the weapon is merely held out, if a enemy touches that end they take FULL damage, this leads to players thrusting with rapiers and trying to 'touch' you like they have a light saber. With weapon swings they need to reduce damage where the swing is the slowest or weakest rather than having you do full damage when a swing hasn't even sped up yet and hits a opponent point blank, or when the swing is ending it's animation at the end (most of the velocity is lost about 80% of the way).

I'm happy you're doing Mordhau content. I like the game but it's an anomaly to me. Usually i fair pretty well in stuff like Battlefield and can't imagine having fun being in the bottom 10 on the scoreboard. In Mordhau I feel like everyone's played way more than I have and I'm lucky to get a kill and even seeing myself on the scoreboard is a pleasant surprise but I still find the game kinda' fun. To be fair, judging by their rank almost everyone has played more than me but I still feel very much outmatched. Also I don't think playing poleaxe was a good beginner choice since it feels faster weapons are very much easier to handle in duels or small team fights. Could be lag or me not used to the game yet but range feels very off as well. Maybe it's because I increased FoV to 90 degrees? Anyway, really liked this video, can't wait for more!
@ethanruigrok79465 жыл бұрын
Trust me, with the proper release most of the people playing are really bad. If you take some time to figure out how to feint effectively you will get top of the scoreboard every time. Obviously you might get shit on by a 1000 hour veteran, buts thats kind of part of the experience imo. Also most vets are really nice and most will spend time helping you improve if you ask.
