Lol.. affordable.. all boats are affordable when bought used.. the problems come in the name.. BOAT... brake out another thousand... everything boating related is marked up 3 times the price stuff should be... but the initial boat, unless buying a new one, wont break the bank by any means.. ive got 3 grand total in my fiberglass flat top 22’ bass boat with a 100hp on it and got all the bells n whistles on it but everytime i wanna bring it out no matter what it costs me at least 100$ a day... i guess if you had a little jon boat and makeshift troller on it than woukdnt cost ya anything to take it out.. or cost much... taxes can be a whale also...

And this is exactly how some of the greatest inventions that we have today came about, just some guy like Marty in his garage using his Heart, his knowledge, his tools, money and the guts to go ahead and do it resulting in him building his dream, Nice work Marty. Never give up on anything that you dream of and really feel that you can do it, Much respect for what you even try to attempt in the future, keep up the good work, one day one of your ideas is going to make you very wealthy. Sure there are a lot of other triple engine boats out there but this one was your own build on a much smaller scale than the other big expensive boats out there and a lot of us regular guys who works 40 hrs a week and are not very wealthy we could afford something nice like this. Like you said, It should be called the poor man's triple engine dream, It's different and probably could be very affordable if you ever decided to really get into these small triple engine smaller boats. P.S. Electric star would be very nice or it could be an option? The end result was just fantastic, I loved it. You should really think about producing more of these boats??

It’s considered a poor mans boat because it’s a bass boat. And I don’t know about you but I own a 26ft skeeter with a mercury 300 I bought it used but the MSRP was 93k so yeah this is a poor mans bass boat. And we’re not even going to talk about my offshore Baja race boat way way way more then the bass boat and it was bought new.

Honestly the best part of these insane builds is that no one is ever going to reproduce them but the innovation that comes from them helps us craft ideas for our own kayaks and small craft ... I mean the tackle box on the side ehhh I usually take more tackle than my damn body weight but in terms of building safe structurally sound this is the man to watch thanks again for a great video.... and to the no music ... after building a baby gas monster maybe a little smoke on the water by deep purple

Maybe I am 4 years late. But I liked the video and found it very entertaining. As an industrial electrician and supervisor, I was forever engineering things to suit the applications. I also was great at bending 4 inch electrical conduits in sets side by side, with all matching bends. Once in a museum I designed a 24' x 30 rack of Unistrut suspended by 3/8 all thread rod and nuts the hung below a 30 foot ceiling. A tract light system was mounted to it. spot lights were installed to shine on art exhibits. It looked marvelous I must say. But I am retired now and I spend my time wishing I was back at work creating things needed for the proper applications, and watching videos on You tube. I am glad I came across this one. I like that you are meticulous, a problem solver and perseverant. I did keep asking, Why doesn't he just go buy a boat that is already got everything on it. It would be less trouble. But I get it. You have to give the heart what it desires. I know. Loved your video.

What a phenomenal project. I am an avid fisherman, boater and frankly anything with a “motor man”. Working from the heart is a venture in itself, but satisfying more than many things in life. BTW I am a Silent Gen old dude. Harley Davidson born. As a boat racer, I found it amazing how many “norms” you defied in the name of building what you called impractical but fun. Be safe and enjoy your one of a kind machine. Further in the name of safety you might want to play around with props (lean on a the same old pro you did for steering) as well as trim angles of the motors to get that nose up a bit. Safe and I bet it would go faster. Just an observation. I found humbling myself has got me a very long way. God bless.

I learned a skill or two along the way and your video is also well done. I don't live far away, maybe I will see you on the water someday. Bravo! ✌️

And when I read through the comments on this video, I can see that there are so manny people in the world who understand what you are doing. And this is absolutely encouraging ! This video is Marty over the top ! Looking forward to be back in Ruskin begin February. And Juergen will be with me.
