@@MrSeanroberts1969 because if I had the setting to limit my battery to 80% the battery would basically last forever and it would degrade significantly slower. I have my iPad plugged in most of the time so when I unplug it the battery has degraded a lot because it is constantly being overcharged

If you don't have this feature, your iPad will be fully charged to 100 all the time, which results in the battery deteriorating very quickly. Having the 80% limit feature allows us to plug in at any time and play with the machine using power directly from the adapter, not through the battery, so you don't have to be afraid that the battery will overload.

What I don’t understand is that there are iPadOS 18 compatible ipads that cant fix your hand writing but all iPadOS 18 compatible iPads can do math notes which generates an answer with a handwriting similar to yours.

I dont understand that iPad pro 12.9 4th gen with face id and A12Z processor can’t run eye tracking but iPad Air 3rd gen with A12 can run that. How’s that possible?? Is A12 more powerful than A12Z? Even though pro one has face id sensors it can’t run..?😡😡

Planned obsolescence. When Apple showed off Math Notes there was no "solve" button, it just solved automatically. Is the button just a part of the beta or will that be how it always works? That's definitely not as smooth as how Apple claimed it would be.

If you use notes it prompts ‘solve’ if you use math notes on the calculator it solves it automatically. Hope that helps.

I upgraded from my iPad 5th gen (2017) to the Latest iPad Pro M4 13” and Im glad to see a big improvement from speed, screen, everything. The one thing I didn’t like is that it’s super thin because Im afraid that it would break/bend easily. But I’m really happy to see iOS 18 on my new iPad. My Last iPad only supported iOS 16 and it was slowing down alot and battery health is bad. I did spend a lot for the new iPad but I think it’s worth it

I’m using an iPad mini 7, because I like the size.. but absolutely not a fan of the fact that I’m missing tons of features all because it doesn’t have a M series chip. Steve Jobs famously liked small phones, and claimed no one would want to carry around a huge device.. Fast-forward a few years and now if you want a small device, you have to accept the fact that it’s going to be inferior and obsolete. Both the mini iPad and mini iPhone leave you missing features. 🤦🏽‍♂️

I updated to ipados 18 and I now I can't downgrade to the official ipados 17, every time I try to do with my computer the ipad is stuck in recovery mode and I need the specific Mac App just to exit the recovery mode. That's really really unfortunate for me. 😢😢
