You know, the part about Remnant having regenerative qualities made me think. Springtrap has a lot of dark red in his flesh-and-bone bits. Now, think about venison for a moment - the reason why that meat is so dark is because it has a lot of capillaries. In other words, more blood in the tissue. While Scraptrap has more bone than Springtrap, the fleshy bits are a much lighter red. So, he has less blood than Springtrap... where did that blood go? Obviously he hasn't had a bath - hell, a fire is probably a polar opposite to a shower. It wasn't burned off, either - the suit is damaged, but not THAT damaged. Plus, he'd look all blackened and crispy, not so yellow and (relatively) clean, if it was fried off. My idea is that the Remnant in his system was somehow influenced to change tactics. To convert the blood and flesh that was still there into bone. It's why, despite him having less flesh on his corpse, you can argue that his body's making some progress in repairing itself. With. Hiccups. Like trying to recreate the ears from bone, where human ears are cartilage. Maybe because Remnant is available through melting possessed metal, he deliberately tore off parts in the burning wreck to manipulate his own Remnant?
