One day Toyota needs to make a real pickup truck. It has to be a single cab, with a naturally aspiration engine, 6-speed manual transmission, not extra goodies like automatic rollup windows, entertainment system (simple radio is good enough), bench seat, AC and heating and a 6 or 8-foot bed. It should sell for $16,000. And that's too much for a truck that hauls crap.

I’ll take a 2500 big horn 4x4 for an even $40k. That’s the ticket.

These Broncos seem to be a serious disappointment for a so-called Ford tuff vehicle. They fall short of anything but a Mall Crawler. Have you taken a look under the front of these Broncos? They seem to have a serious issue with the steering. These vehicles have small steering arms that will snap off while off road. And there is a kit that can be purchased to get ya back home which is a must have at the owners expense. Price, many issue with the power plant and a lot of plastic for the big money.

President Musk is pooping trump’s diaper and Tesla’s rep lol But honestly.. making it a truck was the dumbest part. I think he just really wanted to pretend the “apocalypse” idea. Cyber sedan maybe, but at this point Tesla is so bad I wouldn’t in any circumstance. No LIDAR? Gimme a break cheap-o musk

I would assume a recession is coming…. Then everything will come down to where it should be, in other words the price hike is so that when everything crashes, they’ll reprice at “normal prices”
Hyped that this guy is going to open a new government agency to figure out how to reduce government waste and that those who do are held accountable. My only question is, what will the Government Accountability Office do now? Oooh, also what's the current tax incentive for buying an EV?

So - 97.5% of the customers on the waiting list dropped out, and it seems that a lot of the 2.5% who went through with the order are getting cold feet. This was supposed to be Tesla's big move into the truck sector - but it's an economic disaster.

Our dealer is advertising 12k off sticker. Then they add back 1k for "processing" and 2k for freight and 1k for dealer prep then there's taxes, tags and title.

I left the industry because every year your pay goes backwards with inflation and the only thing the management will tell you is do more work and recommend more upsell items. I am not going to kill myself working 80 hours a week and I'm not scummy enough to recommend fluid flushes and miscellaneous bullshit that the customer doesn't need. I'm in IT now and my pay is growing steadily and I'm not doing shady shit to make ends meet.

The U.S. wealth is decreasing and the price will continue to go up. Get used to it. Everything from Big Mac meals to electricity, everything will go up in price. I don't even want to quote the cost of living in Europe. It's even worse. So, we need to get used to it.

If all you can expect is $20-$25 an hour after going $50K in debt, no one should promote the trades. At least not that trade. My brother worked as an apprentice plumber for a couple years and now makes $100K+ now (although he works 60 hours a week) and he has $0 in debt except for his tools. Plumbing sounds way better.

I wouldn't bet on it. Looked at powersports or RV prices lately? Two, three thousand or more on a 10k dirt bike. That's 20 to 30 percent. Inventory is stacking up and some manufacturers, like KTM, are in serious trouble.

Yep, I do think they could have done a bit of an upgrade to gear ratios in the transmission to improve fuel economy. Would have had a far better result than the current system.

I have to disagree that ford is lowering the prices on the mustang. In Florida they are still selling brand new for over $40k and they don't like to negotiate on prices out here

Toyotas 2025 4Runner TRD Pro. Which is one of their Top trims is cheaper than the Ford Bronco Raptor. Its around $66,000 MSRP. I just cant justify a domestic brand vehicle costing 6 figures. Its not even a luxury vehicle. Its a truck.........Ford you really need to lower your prices yo if you want these vehicles to move off the lot. I feel kike they are trying to upsell these Broncos because if the popularity in the beginning. Keep it reasonable though Ford. Come on, man.

The Banks are the OWNERS of companies' bad ideas(APR,loans, mark ups for EASY TO DAMAGE bumpers, weak CVT, headaches for mechanics & low horsepower for a $60,000 average truck...). Dealers are about to go out of business selling NOTHING across many companies (GM,Ford, Stellantis,Nissan...) & really need to change their approach ASAP or R.I.P. They will chose to LOSE rather than please consumers...(Who is paying $40,000 for a 4 cylinder 2wd with weak torque,100 something horsepower & no good features...!?!)
