Awesome work, like/sub💪 I did this in just over 30 min, but with 5 sets of 20, 40, 60. Pretty sure I had some no-reps though😅

nice one dude! I just signed up for my first every Hyrox in Cologne, Germany. I'm half English half Mexican but will be representing Mexico this time. I hope it goes well, I think the burpees are a bit weird though. And the wall balls seem like a bit of a pain to train in my gym...

Killer job and time but the whole throwing your hands up because someone is in front of you going slower ruined the whole thing. Don’t get me wrong, you would smoke me in a race but that is just horrible sportsmanship. You are doing a race that has every different fitness level there is. There will be slow people working their asses off. Like you said, if you don’t want to be slowed down then compete in the pro division. Don’t complain about how everyone else ruined your 1:05 time. You killed it. Be happy and move on.

What were your running splits?
@Gaygothguy2476 күн бұрын
You killed it! To make the rowing easier, you can practice what is called "ratio" on the erg. Try going slower up the slide and breathe in, then breathe out as you push with the legs and move backwards. Rowing is essentially a leg press, the swing back with your core, and then a lat pull in with your arms! So breathe in forward, and out backwards to improve your V02max on the erg for long-term improvement (as compared to improvement with strictly strength-based exercises).

Not a single pull-up was done! lol (turnabout is fair play, StrictBros). But probably better than the form from most who hate on the gymnastics/CrossFit-style butterfly technique...not quite full extension. But everything else looked pretty good. Nice job!

Brother! So stoked I stumbled across this! Excited to see your breakdown… I was wondering who I edged out by 1 second 😏 No, all jokes aside super solid effort! Congrats! Are you coming to Houston??

A year is a long time to deal with something like that. Good on you for getting it taken care of. I injured my hip just over a month ago, and I came to the realization this morning when I was limping along trying to run that I have to step back and do literally nothing long enough to get this to heal. It’s frustrating because I was starting a training block for a PR attempt at the Mesa marathon, but I ran on some trails and took a tumble that jacked something up in my hip. It’s devastating, but it’s life. Thanks for your words and perspective.

I’ve been battling a runner’s knee and now a serious foot pain over the summer and fall myself, so you’re content has really helped me a lot in me slowly coming back, and trying to stay positive and consistent 😊 Would love to see your build back after surgery and for you to crush the marathon training block 🔥🤘
