First, well done. Second, your autism will work with you, not against you. Next, not doing a numbers thing so the car is a positive, run with it. All tv shows have a format, the format is what works, the content can be flawed now and again, but the correct format wins (Top Gear, Clarksons version). Use Bernie, get a plan, schedule what you’re going to do, list it and get on it. Look at Sarah n tuned and how her early stuff compares to now (she’s excellent) Look at M539 Restoration, he stays with the format, service, repair mechanical, interior, exterior, drive…. It works. I’m going to subscribe so I can see you become good at what you do. Lastly, old beemers are great, real car people like their brands. Research stuff and learn the models, you’ll succeed. Wishing you the best of luck 👍👍

@CharlotteElizabeth3000 What gave me the idea, my brother put a video of our mom a couple tears before she passed. I'm glad he did. He doesn't know why he did it. But anytime I want I can see her. Awesome video! Came up in my suggested videos. I’m glad it did! I so needed this. I’m also a small part time KZbinr trying to transition the topic of my channel. But I’ve been dragging my feet as I want to do the new topic but don’t really know what people want to see and am nervous to put out a video. As the first new topic video I did got made fun by someone on a forum I posted it on. So again thank you it’s nice to know that I’m not the only one feeling like this. Liked and Subbed right away!!

I watched your videos from the latest back to Isolation: the new normal. I was struck that it was from 4 years ago. This video proves that you need not worry about how good your content will be. I have no idea why the KZbin algorithm recommended your channel to me, but it was likely the old BMW (I’m a big fan of those). Regardless I stuck around for the whole video, and honestly, it sounds like you are on the right path. Make the videos you want to make for you, and KZbin be damned. I've watched almost all of your videos now and cannot imagine why anybody would hate on you, at least, not any decent human as any kind of reasonable response. In fact, the more I watch, the more I connect with you - the more I am inclined to feel the polar opposite. I'm gonna put this here because it's so unusual for me, but watching you I can now understand the "celebrity crush" phenomenon. I've never had that kind of reaction and I think it's because you AREN'T a celebrity - but the most wonderfully down to Earth, considered and considerate, genuine soul I've seen on ANY kind of media platform for a VERY long time. Even though everything I'm writing here is sincere and from the heart - I still feel kinda weird writing it. I think because in your videos you are so wonderfully genuine, sincere and giving of yourself that it feels as though we are having a conversation in the real world, and thus I can be honest, but also as though it is a mutual connection. Which obviously I know it isn't. I might have to unsub from your channel because if I feel weird about this then you almost certainly will reading this and that'd be the last thing I want - to make you uncomfortable in any way. To illucidate there are so many overlaps in our lives from the little things, like making a cafetiere of real coffee in a morning, to how you enjoy collecting things. Is "enjoy" the right word? 'Feel compelled to out of some inexplicable interest' might be a better turn of phrase. Or, for example - your appreciation of Bernie's engine, I bought a car specifically because I like the engine note. I love, and share, your obvious horticultural interest and am just a little jealous of all that space you have for simply growing stuff 😁 I keep having to remind myself I'm watching a video not chatting with a lovely young lady in real life. Your musical talent is clear too, I wouldn't be surprised if you wrote a soulful folk song with your guitar and it became a hit. There is a strong possibility I'm on the spectrum too, but being a child of a decade or so before you I don't think autism was anywhere near as widely recognized, if even known at all. Right, enough of my babbling - you're gonna think I'm a stalker or something 😂 I swear I'm not, but then wouldn't a stalker say that?! 🤔 On a closing note - whomever you give your heart to at a close, interpersonal level is one blessed individual and I hope they appreciate just how incredibly special you are! Stay wonderful, you bring light into many people's lives - the growth of your channel is testimony to that. Thank you for adding more than a little ray of sunshine into mine!!

1) Love the car. But.... you will at some point do as I did, and hanker after the distant roar of a V8. The similar era of 7-series is not ludicrously fragile (get a non-VANOS 740, and it's merely expensive) but really gives the magic carpet, with that quiet rumble hurling you at the horizon at, what, we're really doing 85 now? And yes, you can hoon it about. A bit. 2) I'm afraid you will be getting a load of viewer credit, because, well, you are a girl. It works that way. If I started a channel, it would be in 2-digit views for evar. The editing is slick though - nice use of transitions to avoid the low-budge jump-cuts.

I had a v6 once.. but am rather partial to a roaring v8 😅 also nearly bought a 7 series before I ended up with Bernie! Also, I think there can be advantages to being 'anything', but I also hope that folks who stop by can appreciate the content more so. Thank you for sharing. I've been working on better editing, so I really appreciate it!

4:12 And then suddenly, 47,000 were here to care. And care we did. I had a channel when I was on the road in the US for a year. People will come with their worst - and their worst is always something that you already know about yourself. My favorite dude was the guy who commented on Every. Single. Video. that I was fat. WOO! A. I know this. B. Taking the time to comment that is a 'signal' to The Great Algorithm In The Sky that you care enough about the content to INTERACT WITH IT (much as I'm doing now with a comment and a like and a subscribe and a bell and all that jazz...which means that it's not gonna stay at 47k - it's just gonna... what's that meme with the football guy making the "airplane buggering off into the stratosphere" motion? Yeah, that thing.... :D ) C: I miss my E36. :D

I clicked because I spend too much time watching car videos and I saw an old BMW, but I stayed because you had something interesting to say. If my advice is welcome, it would be to focus on your passion whilst paying attention to what works. As you say, don't try and make the perfect video, I set myself a rough time limit per video and do what I can within that. However, that doesn't mean that's the only way.
@CharlotteElizabeth3000
@CharlotteElizabeth3000 Күн бұрын
Hi!! Thanks for this, setting a rough time limit is actually a really good idea and something I haven't thought of! At the moment I just enjoy the process, but it's a long process per video due to 'but it's not quite right yet' 🤦‍♀️ thanks again for commenting :)

Man I relate to this shit SO hard. Like legit everything you said. I have this huge list in my phone of soooo many good ideas (at least to me lol) that I want to make but never actually do. Some were dependent on deadlines that have come and past. I've been starting to clear the clouds in my head recently, and have been making some progress in turning those ideas into digestible bits I do with my free time, and eventually into a final video. This random vid that showed up in my feed only reiterated that feeling and gave me so much additional hope. I reckon you'll make it, and I think I just might too. Thanks for not giving a shit 😂

U got a nice car there. If u really love classic bimmers then what u need to do is learn to drive a stick shift and get u the truest purest expression of BMW driving machine, which is pretty much any of the old classic ones with a standard ransmission. Trust me, it's the way to really enjoy a great car thats designed for enjoyment of the experience of driving. So much of those cars are designed to connect the driver to the function of the car and the shifting is an integral part of that process. Don't miss out
