GK and the pips performance was on point! The sketch with Buddy Rich at the beginning with Sid and Imogene was too funny!! Buddy Rich was one of best in business when it came to his drumming skills!! I saw La Bahome when I was in High school, one of my favorites next to La Traviata and Madam Butterfly.

Such sad news. I thought he would live forever! I've made a playlist of the shows I have on this channel featuring Caesar. Better to remember him with laughter than sadness. kzbin.info/aero/PLvfCPBLpeglUBdqy9rSrLIzru8JWyeeAv
One of Woody Allen's early writing gigs was for Sid Caesar...I wonder if they tossed around the title BULLETS OVER BROADWAY then...

As I only learned recently, Woody didn't start writing for Caesar until after "Caesar's Hour" had ended. He only wrote for the specials, none of which are in circulation to my eternal frustration.
