Take the capital by taking the nearest airport to capital. By the failure of Russian troops not taking over airport the ground troop had no destination to Kiev.

Over 40 years ago, the HMS Sheffield was sunk by an Exocet missile that it never saw because it's radar was shut down to permit radio communication with London. The issue of interfering systems is now covered under the topic of co-site/co-location engineering. I did some of this testing when I worked briefly with GD on a program for the British army. There are strict limits and frequency spacings that must be observed so that systems do not interfere with each other and can operate simultaneously. It was a complete clown show that Russia did not take the public lessons from the sinking of the Sheffield and redo their own systems.
