3 inch gutterdam works great for the diesel heater For the hole in the floor. 3/4 inch still condo pipe. Works great on extending your exhaust. To get it out from under your Van. Be sure to order another fuel pump and glow plug. That's the only thing I ever had go wrong with mine.

Hello Robert nothing better than a good reliable heat source and I love my diesel heater. One thing to look into is there really isn't any 8K heater they just advertise it as that and they over richen the fuel mixture setting to get more heat however there is a problem with that down the road with the heater shooting up and it will stop working and have to take it apart and clean it out, to avoid that you can lean out the settings with the controller to keep it from happening there are a few good videos on how to do that. Nice video stay warm and have a Happy New Year.

I have had good experience with super cheap Chinese knock-off lithium batteries. No problems. I think most are made by the same factories.

There is a company that makes a quieter pump, this one and most of them are pulse pumps, the one I mentioned pumps differently. Good job, these are quite safe if installed properly.

raising it might be bad. I think a great saftey aspect of that plate is mounting flat to the metal floor. That way if there is any malfunction it will leak to the outside instead of into the cab. Be good if ya can gets the rest outside also if possible. As long as you dont get any leaks you should be nice n toasty and eliminate a lot of moisture also. Thanks for sharing your build, have enjoyed the trip.

I know nothing about the heater. Any way the noisy pump could go under the van? Great video by the way.

Most of the power is used for the glow plug. And drops off after that.

That's good to hear! I haven't had a chance to seriously test it while camping yet, but I'm pleased with the driveway tests so far. It definitely puts out some heat, and it's nice and dry too.

Thank you. Nice to see this canyon. Went through there years ago, but didn't get to stop and look around. That is just amazing. I wouldn't want to hike in Hell's Half Acre.

That’s a sad way to see other living beings. Money can’t be compared to the value of life. Capitalism is killing everyone because it encourages this mindset.

I've been running a cheap chinese diesel heater in my camper for 5 years now, very pleased with it. I'd suggest you keep a few spares with you, like a fuel pump, maybe a spare controller and motherboard. My motherboard gave up after five years and a temp sensor went bad. Check out John Mck 47 on youtube for everything you'd ever want to know about these heaters. Best of luck to you and safe travels !
