I’ve read 2 comments about a 4 guy asking a girl out but the only 4 guy I personally know wants to be asked out by girls ,he tells girls his problems as if he’s just another girl but still crushes on girls like any other guy ,I can’t tell which is more common?

A bit late to the party. I dug into this a couple of days ago. 6w5. Full report characteristics makes a lot of sense. Some pricey things would go as far as combining these results with MBTI personalities and that was mentally exhausting, but also interesting. It keeps making more sense. Layouts that you might’ve noticed about other people, but completely overlooked in yourself. Good video

I’m probably a 4, and listening to the 4 wound description, I realized that my mother tried to get me to be less emotional. She was not comfortable with my strong emotions. I was raised in the1960s, and the idea of a child being “too much” wasn’t around. I was too much for my emotionally repressed mother, and she forced me to be emotionally repressed a lot, too. So thank you for this insight! 🙏

I treasure when I get that burst of energy! But I’m a little tired of enneagram experts insisting that our inertia is a negative thing. Our creator, call it God, designs us perfectly. Inertia is just part of who are, and it’s to be loved and accepted and embraced , there is beauty in rest and doing Nothing… and if it ends up in a negative, the 9s can handle it cuz it just doesn’t bother us as much as it would others, so we are innately equipped to handle who we are. God’s perfect design.

I think 9s (like me) have a heightened sensitivity to energies from everything and everyone, it overwhelms the nervous system and we need inertia to allow us to rest rest rest and recover. And then when a Astrological mars transit happens we get a boost of energy and focus to do what we need to do. Mars transits can be a little tough sometimes but are a blessing for me cuz that’s when I get things done. Yes! 🎉

But what if I like my inertia cuz it feels cozy, isn’t it eckert tolle who says all we ever need to do is just “be”, isn’t inertia just “being?”

We’re so good at reading and helping others that it’s easy to focus on them. As a 9, I often know what others need, but struggle with my own needs. It’s easier to be motivated by what I really DON’T want.

5w6, grew up in instability. Alcoholic parents. Frequently relocating. 20 moves, 7 states and 16 schools by age 16. I think I started off more as a 5w4, turning to fiction writing as an escape from chaos during childhood. I hated school. I must’ve migrated to 5w6 with college where I started to love learning and couldn’t get enough. College didn’t present the challenges of fitting in and making friends. I started college at age 27 after earning a GED. I had dropped out of school on my 16th birthday .

I'm not sure if you planned on this or it just happened, but as a 4w5, I love that you have a computer, desk, and organizers as your background in the Type 5 video, and then you have ambient lighting, pictures, and plants in the Type 4 video. Edit: Oh dear Lord, when you said that 5's want to just grab something out of their closet and go, a piece of my behavior just made sense. I LOVE colorful and extravagant clothes on other people and when I was younger, I would buy unique pieces to wear in my daily wear. The only problem was I hate having to take time to put outfits together. I've learned that I have to buy pieces (usually tops) that are just quirky enough in pattern, color, or style to make my outfit interesting, but not crazy enough to where it's hard to pair that piece with other items. Also, comfort is a major thing for me. I used to buy items that were slightly uncomfortable because of "pretty," but now if I try something on and it feels the least bit funky...nope, I'm not buying it. I even fluctuate throughout the month on how comfortable I want to be. For instance, today I woke up and thought, "I want to feel like I'm in pajamas," so I put on some stretchy palazzo pants, ballet flats, and a soft tunic top. Even though I'm in mostly the color black today, my pants have a pretty pattern of flowers and vines, and the top has a mesh ruffle at the bottom that adds a little bit of flair. Cute but comfortable. Never thought that would have something to do with my Enn. but here we are. Thanks for the new knowledge! I love learning something new. 😁

I'm usually a chill and somewhat shy 5, but one thing that I've noticed throughout the years is that when someone crosses the line or when someone started to bully me back in 5th grade I fight back like an 8 and never back down. It's so out of character for me but it just happens naturally. I actually surprise myself sometimes 😅 I'm 541 / 514 tritype sp/sx

Before I learned about the subtypes, I actually thought that I might be a 5. Instinctually, I had a feeling I was a 4, but it just didn't quite fit. Subtypes changed the game for me and that was how I knew for certain that I'm a SP 4.

Not gonna lie. Got a little emotional hearing the core points. I genuinely do feel like my needs are not only a problem, but a burden to people. I'm not used to people seeing my core. Its a little uncomfortable. I've watched a lot of enneagram videos, & yours have been the first to not leave me with even more questions. Thanks to your videos, I finally feel like I know I'm a 5w4. Which gives me a direct type to focus on learning as much as I can about. I'll probably look into the others once I have my own nailed down. Thanks again.

I've been thinking about this on & off for years. But I think I've finally landed on 5w4. Main reason being, I don't like to say I know something, without feeling like I actually 110% know it. The fact that I'm trying to obtain more & more & more information to figure it out, rather than just going with my gut, suggests 5 above 4. This helped also. I defiantly see 6, not so much 3. I am different. I'm autistic. I'm reminded on a regular basis how unlike most other people I am. Sometimes this is a strength, most of the time its a bit of a hurdle. I think being different is one of those things only people who have never experienced what its like to be an outcast want. Its isolating. Until you find those rare individuals who also don't quite fit in. So no, I don't want to be different. I simply am. Humm, guess I have my answer 5w4. ....although I'm still probably going to continue watching a bunch of videos on it & keeping an eye out for good books on the subject also. Just the way I am when I'm interested in something.

I think I'm currently exhibiting or experiencing Enneagram 7 behavior or tendencies right now. I would LOVE to take some time to dissect your video as to what ones REALLY RESONATED and which ones did not. But that would take a lot of time, and technically, I'm supposed to be working right now. 🤫 And, by the time I'm done working, I will have forgotten this conversation because I'll probably want dinner instead. In short, some of them really truly resonated. Like spot-on resonated. And then there was something that was like (head scratch) hmmm, I don't know about that Hope that makes sense.

I think what Meyers briggs and enneagram have in common is that your type doesn't change....BUT if you take either test multiple times, then you can possibly get different results just because tests are never the golden rule. I think for both personality theories, if you are REALLY serious in knowing your type for both theories you need to take the time to read each personality type description if taking the test alone doesn't work for you. Like enneagram we all have a little bit of each 9 types in us.... Same as Meyers briggs. We all have a little bit of E, I, N, S, F, and T but it's the matter of which 4 letters you use more like if you're right handed or left handed. I can write and throw a ball with my left hand but I'm clearly better at doing those things with my right hand. I think it's easier to guess an acquaintance's myers briggs type than their enneagram because myers briggs deals with how you react to the world while enneagram is about your motivation and fears and most people wouldn't be able to guess that unless you get to know someone on a deeper level. Specialist for both theories say that you can type children but personally, I would hold off on typing my future kids until they reach high school because I'd want them to develop their personality more without any influences but tbh ill still probably secretly guess their type in my head and wait to see if I guess right many years later lol

I've been doing some deep soul-searching lately, and I'm finally beginning to confront a truth I've been hesitant to acknowledge. For a long time, I believed that withdrawing from situations was a form of quiet rebellion, a way to assert my individuality. But now I see it for what it truly is: a way of shrinking myself down and hiding away. It’s time to break free from that pattern and embrace the power of my voice. I need to learn to speak up and reclaim my presence in this world! I wonder why it took me so long to figure out I was a type 9.
