She is what she always was. A classless, street ho, gutter pig. Shes disgusting inside and when she takes off that mask of makeup you can see how revolting of a person she is physically.

you listed albums pretty much well, but i dont think that any of opeth album deserves "NO". i think there are only good and excellent and also classic if you wish.

Lars wrote that note on the No Life Til Leather demo, because he had ugly fights with Ron McGovney (Mcgovney said this later in an interview), and at that time he 1. didn't especially liked bass players because of McGovney 2. he wanted to piss off McGovney even more. That's the whole story, don't have to make conspiracy theories about it.

I’ve been a guitar player for 15 years and have heard just about every guitarist worth hearing in that time. This isn’t me just being a contrarian for the sake of it but I think it’s ok to say that David Gilmour, Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton etc don’t even come close to the guitarists we have today. They’re just boring. I understand that people say they’re pioneers of modern guitar playing and that’s a fair point but in my opinion they’re only point. I’ve just always thought they were unimpressive when you have people like John Petrucci, Marco Sfogli, Matteo Mancuso, Mateus Asato, Guthrie Govan, Mike Dawes and so on. I know that’s a sacrilegious opinion but at least I’m not a sheep. I’ve probably spent 45 minutes of my life intentionally listening to Jimi Hendrix

I think Lulu is a brilliant Halloween album. It’s like a horror story to music. I like it when Metallica take risks. People forget that when they first appeared they were very alternative and most reviewers did not appreciate them.

I think metal overall is more right wing and libertarian that you'd think. Metal is more working class, therefore more libertarian. Punk is usually more educated middle class, thereby more leftist

Many people forget that Gojira is also incredibly influential to modern metal. They introduced some new guitar techniques which you can find all over and their sound, while a little niche, has really shaped a new way of writing and producing.

This sounds exactly as it is, improvised drumming that doesn't gel well with the rest of the metallica "production"

3:47 this is what I love about A7X as opposed to other metal groups. It feels more melody based and there’s more to latch on from a songwriting perspective. I always appreciate the technical mastery on display in metal, but in terms of enjoying sound, usually not as much except when it comes to this band

Nah, nothing can make the black album "better", the meanness and aggressivity of its production comes from the scooped mids and the tight punchy snare.

I agree that "Experimental Metal" and "Avant-Garde Metal" are redundant - They're the same thing. But neither of them is Progressive Metal (necessarily). Progressive Metal take its root from 70's Progressive Rock bands and the specific ways they were experiemntal - Time Signature changes, Extended Instrumentation, Technical Precision, Jazz and Classic influences. They're more "grounded" into this influences, while Avant-Garde Metal isn't Avant-Garde Metal bands don't have a single movement as a inspiration. Their influences are more open and less "niched" than Progressive Metal. They're more like Captain Beefheart & His Magic Band, Swans, Glenn Branca, The Velvet Underground... Of course there's a lot of intersection between Avant-Garde and Progressive Music, but none of those genres encapsulate the other. For example: Kayo Dot is a band that are both Progressive and Avant-Garde. Today Is the Day is an Avant-Garde Metal band, while being no progressive at all. Dream Theater is certainly Progressive, but not Avant-Garde at all.

I don't get all the hate on the production of this album. Metallica are not RUSH. The bass guitar in this style is ONLY supposed to compliment the guitars. It is guitar/drums driven metal. The mix on this album is unique and ultimately perfect for what it is. The guitars sound like dragons, and the drum mix is more brutal than anything ever otherwise recorded. I have listened to countless amateur remixes of AJFA, and all of them fall woefully suck in my opinion. This album mesmerized millions for a reason. Haters can point to ANY song or album and offer their two cents, and that's about what it's worth.

We live in a cultural... It's ego breeding of narcissistic people. Taylor Swift is one, and I don't follow her! I live in a town and I have tons of musicians friends and some are full of themselves and I won't bother supporting them anymore! 🎶🎻🎶✌️

Yeah interesting. The proper order is (and they are all awesome thrash) Master, Ride, Kill, Justice, and - that's it. Oh wait, Sandman gets a solo track recognition, but the rest of black was meh. All the rest are just another band called Metallican't. And Fuel? Please, i change the channel on the radio if that rote tripe comes on.

I just came across two videos about Finn and listening to this guy explain the entire YT situation I am shocked that after nearly 2 decades and like a generation and a half of people across the globe deciding they were gonna make a living as a youtuber as their main or sole income without a secondary plan that they are now lost and worried about how they'll support their family now that content of all kinds across every topic has been over saturated for several years. Who coulda seen this coming...hopefully the sarcasm was nice and thick.

I wonder how much it costs to hire 60 people to constantly monitor KZbin for copyright infringement. KZbinrs help bring old bands like the Eagles to younger people that might not have ever heard of them. One would think that Henley would want his legacy to be the music. Nope! It's just money.
