If I remember correctly the reason Anakin was created through the force was because Palpatine and his master were doing some things with the force trying to create life and the force created Anakin as a answer to what they were doing

I’m good with the direction Dave Filoni is going with Stars Wars. Stars Wars is a sci fi and fictional universe that is continuously evolving and needs to evolve if it is to be around for the next 50 years.😊

I've seen people complaining about the referring to the force as the thread which makes no sense given that people just on earth we refer to things differently all the time and Star wars takes place over planets

Hux is a sociopath. He even admits in being the spy that he doesn’t care if the other side wins, he just wants Kylo to lose. So, not trying to justify the cluster 🦆 that is Disney’s incredibly bad sequel trilogy-but Hux be cray. He’s totally cool blowing away so many planets and lives, but also will sell out and help the resistance cuz “LOL KYLO U SUCK!”

The guy is like a career-backup. Definitely knows the lore better than everybody, but it doesn't make him a good filmmaker, and at this point, he's more interested in telling stories of extras on his previous shows, than taking care of the big picture. Satisfying the nerdiest nerds won't get the franchise back on track, unfortunately.

I’m probably alone on this boat but I don’t really see much of an issue with Alolye ep 3, the whole force string thing is just the way these witches perceive the force, no different to how the Zeffo from fallen order see it as The Life Wind or the nightsisters as magic. Just another religion that has a different view in the force than the Jedi.

It's a shame Dave has worked so hard to bring amazing Star Wars stories to life for almost 2 decades now to only get nothing but disrespect from STAR WARS FANS. The fandom continues to effectively take much of the fun out of the series for many people who just want good Star Wars stories free of disingenuous people pissing and s#@!$# themselves durring a time where were getting excellent shows and games.

Dave Filloni is the best writer we have in Star Wars rn, closest thing to George Lucas, my only issue with Dave is that he chooses to mostly ignore anything related to the books and comics, then retcons them in his tv shows.

I’m hoping Abaoloth will play a massive role in season 2 of Ahsoka since it seems that’s who Bayland is after. I’m also hoping it will be revealed that Anakin is the next ruler of Mortis. He is the chosen one after all so it makes sense.

Nope, bro has been retconning Star Wars since 2008, and ruined a lot of great characters from Legends, maybe an L take for you, but I don't trust him. CWMMP >>> TCW that's all

I personally love both for different reasons and they do have some commonalities: CWMMP gave us a cohesive arc that created some interesting insights into the clone wars as well as the variety of situations people found themselves in while also introducing characters like Durge really well. TCW it’s partly hard to rail against because IIRC George had alot more input with it than with CWMMP and TCW also did alot of cool things like introducing Ahsoka (solid character), humanizing standard clones (not just the Null and Alpha class which tbf CWMMP did really well) and both gave us some pretty intense insight into the reality of war (Umbara and Jabiim respectively)

Dave is too much of a hit or miss for me. I think with animation, he always delivers. But when it comes to the latest live action stuff, I think he helped nail the first season of Mando but that that was it.

In Disney times, yes but I still stay alert. In the old times during George Lucas era I didn’t trust him because I considered his clone wars to be inferior, when you compared it to the clone wars multimedia projects and the republic commando novels you can see why I thought that even though I was like 5 years when TCW season 1 premiered in 2008 but I had bought a Star Wars comic a few weeks after the airing of the malevolence arc. It was Obsession 4 and it became a childhood favorite along side Shadows of the Empire 5.

I’m assuming they are gonna go back and discuss it but the creators of TBB specifically stated ventress’s return would be done in such a way that dark disciple isn’t retconned.

That's why I don't care how are they gonna explain how Asajj returned. What mostly matters to me is that she returned.
