I just bought a 1978 boat with lots and lots of teak. I'm not sure the deck can be saved, but I will try. The rails and trim, for sure thanks for the lesson and supplies!

Nice to see. I rented this exact boat for 2 weeks in 2018. It didn't have a stern thruster then. Made a similar trip through Friesland and Groningen, great fun.

25 ft boat can take you anywhere you want to go. At least if you ask the Norwegian who sailed a 22 ft sailboat to Antarctica back in late 1990's. I think it was in 98/99. He called his boat "Berserk" and I met him by the coasts of Antarctica while sailing tourists from Argentina to this very isolated place. Unfortunately I don't remember his name. A wild man, this Norwegian, following his dreams.

I'd like to see a video on Bilge Pumps. Mainly location. I have a vintage McGregor 24 sailboat. There's no indication of ever having a thru hull hole discharge. And how to determine the lowest point of the boat. Tia. I'll be living on this boat so it needs to be correct.

Been dealing with the same crap on a 1986 Chris Craft 315 Commander , I ripped out all the rotted wood and the headliner .

I mean yeah, if you just sit on anchor you could be limited by your holding tank... But how hard is it to get 3 miles off the beach, and just empty it when you aren't by the dock? But I think you're onto something, about the composting toilet.

I definitely hate hooking up my travel trailer, to a sewer hookup. I removed the toilet and replaced it with a composting tip so I only store grey water and regular water to run sinks.

I'm looking to get a dingy boat to restore for chaap to take in my pickup so I can use it as a rower.

a guy did it near me, he worked in the shipyards and stole most of the steel plate and oxy-acetylene, he had to get a crane to lift it over the house onto a low loader, his bosses saw it on the local TV news and they sacked him but he didn't care he went fishing instead,

Great videos,subbed, exactly what I am looking for ,I have a 25 ft sail boat , it can with no anchor locker of any description , I am seeking to create a shelf under the foredeck with a hawse pipe to feed the locker with line , my plan was to attach two lengths of timber one each side of the internal of the hull in the forepeak , raw hull no liner , once the timber is attached to the hull cut a V section of marine ply ,place it over the timber sloping downward towards the bow so I can install a drain and thru hull , now my question how would you attach the two lengths of timber to the hull ? , also what fibre glass Matt and resin would you use to cover the marine ply and tab it up onto to hull about 4 inches all the way around ,I am not to worried about appearance as it will be out of sight , just want it strong as it will be free from any other support , and will be housing 15 mt of 8 mm chain plus 50 mt of line ,probably around 30 kg , but with the slope of the shelf the weight should be resting on the hull forward as well as shelf , thanks for your insight cheers from Australia
