If you watched this video pick up the phone and call the local flight school it’s worth it. It’s so much fun and the memories and unbeatable. Yes it’s hard, it has its ups and downs during training but in the end it’s so worth it

Yes. You need to take responsibility for yourself, never expect anything from anyone else - move forward regardless. This applies to everything in life

I love this channel, great content To estimate the total cost of obtaining your instrument rating in Indianapolis, Indiana, let's break down the expenses based on the figures you've provided: 1. **Aircraft Rental**: $175 per hour 2. **CFI II Rate**: $60 per hour 3. **Total Hourly Cost**: $175 + $60 = $235 4. **Sales Tax (7.0%)**: $235 x 0.07 = $16.45, so total per hour = $251.45 Assuming you require an average of 40 flight hours to complete your instrument rating, the flight training cost would be: - **Flight Training Cost**: 40 hours x $251.45 = $10,058 5. **Ground School**: $250 6. **FAA Knowledge Test**: $175 7. **DPE Checkride**: $800 Now, let's add everything together: - **Total Flight Training Cost**: $10,058 - **Ground School**: $250 - **Knowledge Test**: $175 - **Checkride**: $800 ### **Total Estimated Cost**: - $10,058 + $250 + $175 + $800 = **$11,283** So, your instrument rating in Indianapolis is likely to cost around **$11,283**. Keep in mind that costs can vary based on individual circumstances and how many flight hours you actually need. Additionally, it's important to note that the FAA requires a minimum of 15 hours of flight instruction for the instrument rating. However, the average IFR training is around 20 hours. For the remaining 20 hours, Im currently log those with a safety pilot while also log training in a (AATD) Advanced Aviation Training Device at $100 per hours dual.

instrument approach clearance format acronym PTAC- position(# miles out) don’t read this one back, it’s just the format ATC calls it. read back the last three! track(heading) altitude(altitude) clearance(cleared whatever approach)

About to graduate high school, I'm trying to figure out my path in life. So far, pilot is at the top of my list, and I want to pursue it. I just need to figure out flight school and college, I'm willing to go into debt and pay it off later in my career

Skin of a jet and all planes very thin, aluminum sheet metal. Pebbles very small bounce off those tires and do damage to the plane especially at high speed.

Very good. The STS program was a fail due to the 2 flights and crew as a total loss. 2 in 135 is not a good stat. I would never have done it as a pilot. I cherish life too much that God has given me.

I need help with deciding what I want to do. I'm currently in pro pilot school, but I have a major passion for pro wrestling. The problem is knowing whether I would be able to juggle both considering pro wrestling is a physically demanding sport and I'm not sure if I would be able to also pursue a career in piloting.

Hi Guys and Gals. in 2023 I ticked over to the wrong side of 70. I've wanted to fly since I was a teenager but family, work and finances always got in the way. I decided I have to do it now or never so I sold up some assets and booked flight lessons with the aim to start NOW. I was in the air within the week but due to my geographical location, 650km from the airstrip, weather and other commitments it's been a bit slower than I planned. I'm due to go solo but got distracted locating and bringing an aircraft home from 4500km away. I've nearly got the plane ready so hopefully I'll be completing my basic training in the coming months flying my own plane. Don't let age hold you back. I went for a higher level of medical than I needed because I wanted to be sure I was fit to fly. I am, I came through with a clean bill of health so it's all up and away from here.
