I wouldn’t worry about the cracks. Normal for concrete. Just surface stress cracks.

It is a tribute to your presenting skills that I’m watching with fascinated attention, you fixing this machine. I live in London now and grew up in Kent (the county on the south-eastern tip of the UK). All the farms around where I grew up were either orchards or grew hops (Kentish hops are world famous, y’know) so hay was not something I ever saw being made. Therefore I have no idea how this machine of yours works but it’s still properly fascinating to watch you and your boy work on it. Keep on keeping on! <raises glass of Kentish Ale (specifically Shepherd Neame’s “Spitfire”)>. 🍻

Don't put too much faith in a rock-filled ditch. Rocks can form a good foundation to catch and hold dirt (mud) and when it dries, it'll be a water highway. Water will flow right over it. And at the base of a 60 acre hill, you're going to need some serious flood control. I'm in L.A. and the people who live in the hills surrounding L.A. can tell you all about floods. Best of luck to you and your family, my friend. And get some good flood control engineering to help you avoid this again, 'cause it's coming again.... sooner or later, it's coming. BTW, if you build again, build it on a 6" - 8" stem wall.

From someone who grew up on a farm, YOU ALWAYS KEEP THE BARN or BUILD IT BACK BIGGER! Also, in the city you have kids, in the country...you raise farm hands. You guys are going to need at least 5 more so you should get busy with that.

Please, what happened to the deTommso Pantera. That was a nice car. I am no fan of the ford motors but that would have been a nice ride. I would have dropped a real 427 into it and made one bad add car.

I hate to see that. I really wish that you would consider calling an engineer from way down here in Mississippi or Alabama. We deal with flooding from rivers into the gulf with serious rain on a daily basis. I hate to say it but I’m not sure that fix is going to solve the issue. Breaks and clay will help you more. With a good dozer you can maintain the drainage for many years to come. Again I’m really sorry that happened. Hang in there. Good luck to you. I’m hoping for the best.

Is it just me? From what I can see on your video, it doesn't look like your building's insulated. With enough solar on that huge roof area, and enough insulation, roof and walls, (maybe R-25 or so), your electrical bill would take a terrific nosedive. You're trying to heat & cool an enormous volume. Beautiful building!!!
