Save yourself a ton of headaches and don't build any garage or mechanic zone into the building! I'd start out with Just a simple museum and gift shop and then expand it into a small convenience store and or gas station ⛽ type thingy? Ya know since you're going to be paying somebody to stand around there all week anyway you might as well have it pay for itself instead of coming out of your pocket every week!

Just an idea. May not work. But i work for a charity called Habitat for Humanity (I'm in AZ, but Tennessee will have its own branches). Theyre mission is to build homes for people who dont have one. But theu also teach contracting and trades for building, whilst building homes for needy while they learn. Maybe work out a sponsorship with them, because as a non- profit, everything is donation based, but your channel exposure will most likely help them a lot. Maybe they'll help with your building's construction? Worth a try I think.

I know you like the looks of the building. I know you like the concept of moving into it. But there's a huge section of the building that's got to be tore down and you need everything in that building from a guy who's worked construction for a long, long time. You should seriously think about bailing on it and getting something more practical or Tearing that building down in putting up a brand new, fresh building that you can put all the amenities into, even if it means keeping a single wall, just to consider it a remodel in the long run, it would probably be cheaper. Just my opinion from your wisconsin cheese head.

Hi, Jessica & Derek, We lived in Chattanooga for 4 Yrs. and we loved it ! We made alot of friends! The weather is great for Hot rodding! But we had to move back to S. W. Pennsylvania, for family health reasons! Winter Sucks Period! We also lived in Tucson And I used to race at the old Tucson Dragway We loved it there, it was hot but we were getting used to it we were young! The weather there is outstanding for Hot Rodding! Tennessee is alot less expensive to live, that I will agree! You are great people and I love your Channels! Thanks!

Don't plumb the old portion of building with a new draining system .Tie into the main drain and build small new construction adjacent to wall that you're keeping .This will accommodate the bathrooms..Much easier,quicker,cleaner, & straight forward. ❤❤❤

My thought is that you can sell bricks on the building for a price, and in return, put the persons name on it for the donation. That will help alleviate the initial cost of the renovation. You said it was a place for people (Fans) to come see you. they can also see their name on the walls. Different areas of the building would be a different prices naturally.

Biggest thing is build projects for content,sell afterward to invest back in buildings,or projects don't let add up,wasting space when you need new content, projects,revolving money....

It would be nice to have place to come visit you and check out cars and show cars

Great layout with variety. Beware mold with double brick construction. Rip out any drywall on exterior walls and frame it with insulation, (as I hear you say your leaving it bare never mind). The OG drywall with strapping used at the time is too tight to breath and traps condensation..

That addition didn't seem that bad. Fix the roof, replace some damaged rafters, and treat the ceiling with some antimicrobial. Simpson makes some special hangers for that application. That's good usable space if you ask me.

hmm maybe get you an oxygen concentrator I have a few I got off amazon I dont wear a mask i just increases the level of O2 in my house I bet they have ones you can put in a vehicle like a tractor cab to and Im a heavy smoker to.or drink butter coffee in the morning io satiates ur hunger or if you eat breakfast protien only like "carnivor" no carbs or slim to none carbs or sugar or MCT oil n coffee. Its anti cancer and satiates ur hunger you dont need diabetes took me a long time to figure what was safe to eat.
