I was never bothered by the modulated voice. I think its part of the brand now. i like when he uses it for more hyperbolic or fantastical lines, like "obsolescence is obsolete".

I think it is a question of price and value. The new Panasonic sets the mark under 2000 Euro with interchangeable lenses. Sony could do an RX1 III with IBIS for 2000 with a fixed lens and it would sell perfectly.
