The Troubleshooting method is awesome. It is systematic , step by step and in the right direction. It all seem so easy , but experience is what makes it easy . Another great, one DAN. Keep teaching as we learn more from you.

Great video again Dan. Thanks for explaining at the end how you were able to determine the faulty tone ring vs speed sensor or wiring issue.

Aftermarket immobilisers are a pain when they don’t work. Hub assembly removal tip: unscrew and remove 2 bolts, then unscrew the other two about half way. Next, tap on the bolt heads you unscrewed half way and the assembly will come off in one piece. I’ve done hundreds of them that way.

Dan sorry to hear of your relocation troubles but it is you and your knowledge/talents that make this channel the location is irrelevant. The new owner of your previous workshop is a fool, they should be proud to have you as an employee…I know if it was made known that “Diagnose Dan” worked there they would be inundated with customers. Really looking forward to some more content this year. P.S. would be great to see some on a mild hybrid regarding ISG diagnosis and repair etc as problems with these are becoming more common and very expensive to repair.

Great videos again. My son has a car make that is high on the stolen car list and wants something like that immobilizer. I should get him one and watch the fun. He might think twice about sensible car choice.

You should tell the new yahoo Bye Bye and open your own shop. Better yet- take all the old employees with you . Sometimes new owners aren't as smart as they think they are.

I used to work at a Mitsubishi dealer here in the US. I found that most often the metal ring on the back of the hub would rust and the wheel speed sensor would not stay in place.

I find it worrying that your colleagues in the old workshop did not want to be identified with it and your videos. Your videos contributed great prestige to that workshop. Your new workshop seems to value that and the other guys don't fear being identified with it which I interpret as being proud as being identified with the workshop. and its quality.

Are both sides need to be replace rather than just 1 side. If 1side is bad, then in theory the other side may follow suit. Atleast that is what i would have thought. Just a thought maybe you could share your opinion. thanks.
