On my first attempt fighting Commander Gaius, I actually dodged most of his charge attacks consistently well, which must've been some kind of divine intervention, one that eventually _disappeared,_ because then I started messing up and died, and then in my next attempts, I just couldn't dodge that crap for the life of me! _and it seems I wasn't alone..._ I eventually whooped his ass though, all of his other moves are easy to dodge (especially after fighting Messmer a million times), but Satan himself must've possessed someone at fromsoft to "Try fingers, player's but hole" with this boss.

the true ending changing everything about the game, its not a story with cyclical nature of Dark Souls games but turned into a story of perseverance and rebellion against establishment, injustice, and confomity. so glad i finished the game again when the disc finally out.

I only defeated him so easy after i randomly found out that u can Jump to the side when he Charge at you😂 bur ngl he was the most brutal boss i ever faced and he was the first boss of all time in eldenring who made me ragequit 2x! 😂

Using the same logic as Star Wars' ridiculous "Somehow, Palpatine has returned" just so they could cave to fan demands for a fight with Radahn in his prime? It's pitiful. I would rather have the final DLC boss be a complete copy-paste of Bed of Chaos.

(Sorry for the ultra long message!!) From what I understand you're saying this is either a lazy idea for a boss or just doesn't fit into the lore This is personally how I view it being quite unique: His moveset is almost entirely different from Base Game Radahn's, so gameplay wise he isn't boring. He shares atleast two moves with base game Radahn, and both are altered versions, his ash of war skill on the base game blades has been changed to make rock sprout from the floor, and his base game phase transition has been made into a move where he and Miquella both work together to deliver a holy strike on the ground below The lore is also interesting, as you said in a reply to someone you mentioned this is Prime Radahn, however it isn't this Radahn, while better than base game, is not close to his prime. He's in an unfamiliar, smaller body that lacks his potential for battle, it honestly has frightful implications that he fights so well in such a body due to his smaller limbs since it's Mohg's body, implying how dangerous he would be in a body he was comfortable with. The lore of "Radahn has returned" is also interesting, and it also shows off Miquella in person for the first time, who shows just how strong he is when attacking in unison with Radahn, using magic to assist Radahn's already powerful attacks. I personally believe the lore of Radahn returning is super interesting because you get to fight him honourably instead of fighting him when he's essentially a zombie, I always disliked having "beaten Radahn" when he was at a severe disadvantage due to being crippled both mentally and physically, it's akin to pushing over a guy in a wheelchair that has a knife. And what else really would have fit for the final battle? Malenia? That's even worse, because atleast when we fight Malenia she is closer to her prime than Radahn was. And the amount of people complaining about a Miquella-light boosted waterfowl dance would be so incredibly annoying. Miquella, alone? From what we see he'd likely focus on evasion and casting (the fact he ONLY casts in the fight, and his slim build means he wouldn't be a fan of tanking hits), which would not only make for a "meh" final boss, but also an extremely annoying one. Leda - as a standalone boss? That leaves the Miquella situation unresolved, Leda - as a boss with Miquella's assistance like Radahn had? That's more boring that Radahn, because atleast we know of Radahn and his achievements, Leda is just some random who we meet who's thristy for Miquella. Messmer? While cool in concept for Messmer to be the final boss, and he'd be a fun one... Killing Messmer wouldn't solve the Miquella situation, which is the entire reason we visit the realm of shadow. I personally don't see any better conclusion.

Its quite obvious you got your ass handed to you by the boss and now have to blame literally everything besides the blatant skill issue of yours. About the lore, I was talking about the game as a whole. Personally i think its too lore heavy for a game, since on your own you will rarely get remotely any idea of whats going on. Concerining Radahn, i dont really care too much if you like the reasoning he is there, its complex but not unreasonable

To explain, Bajie was admiral of the celestial navy. The first girl that Zhu Bajie bumped into, fell in love with him but Bajie was pursing the moon goddess, who was having an affair with another god. When they caught Bajie spying, they cast him down to earth to be a pig. The girl that he first bumped into Bajie in heaven, asked around where Bajie is and people told her "He's a pig" but she misunderstood that they said he's a spider (Pig and spider have similar pronunciation in Chinese) so the girl went down to earth to assume the form of a spider to be with him. After 900 years of reincarnation, they finally found each other and recognized each other immediately but to prevent the girl from facing threats from yaoguais and the celestial court, Bajie chose to ignore her and distance himself from her after he joined Wukong and the others in their journey to the west.

Your no hit run was awesome to see, especially since this was BY FAR the hardest boss I’ve ever fought in any game. I don’t know why, It took well over 50 attempts for me to beat him. In my opinion, he’s also one of the worst designed bosses in the DLC because you can find yourself fighting a status effect rather than a boss, that’s not to take away from your no hit run, that’s was insane especially since I nearly gave up on him. Consort Radahn took me a few tries. Completely backwards but we all have that one damn boss.

I killed him pretty much only using scarlet aeonia as the third boss I fought in the dlc after dancing lion and the knight lady. (no bell summon but did summon Igon)
