If the only argument against a team name is "the colors would be the same as [insert other team here]," it's not a very strong argument. If the team colors match another teams colors, who cares? The Canadiens, Capitals, Rangers, Blue Jackets, Jets and Panthers all use red, white and blue in some capacity and no one complains about it. Hell, you could count the Avs in that too if you count burgundy as a tone of red. Every single one of those teams came in at a different time period and have still found a way to establish themselves as a unique entity, I think the league will survive with another black and yellow team.

While a great concept for a hockey team, I really dont like the Swarm... What would that chant sound like? Squall is also out ... The chant for that could turn into a bad word that feminists wouldn't like... I guess we're left with Yeti. (which could also be a "Wholly Bully") ... Not suggested is the other desert dog - the Fox... Too Close to Arizona trademarks?

I think that Utah Yeti sounds good together and you could call the arena the cave or den, say something like this " So come into the cave/den for some Yeti magic." Also for Utah HC, i thought that hc was for High Country and not hockey club, it sounds better.

I am not really liking any of those names. I picture WNBA and the late 90’s Beach Roller hockey teams when I hear them. The NHL was very lucky with those early 90’s expansion names, uniforms, and schemes. I’m hoping Utah can pull something unexpected. Shit I would prefer “Natives” over all them haha
