Do the cardio but the focus should be on weight training. He's right free weights are the best they work all the little muscles. People want abs but they only way to build them is squats bench deadlifts

No doubt health is (and should be) extremely important but this feels like another shame on you sales pitch from someone who’s business is selling you health advice. And no disrespect to Dr. Lyons but she doesn’t look like the healthiest person that ever walked the planet.

The food industry make highly addictive (palative) food. Broccoli with lemon is palatable I like it a lot but I don’t want to overdose like processed food.

19:15 is just not true. My husband eats fast food and doesn’t exercise. He works in an office. I eat nothing but meat, track my food, chase kids all day and workout. The calories in calories out is just not true. There’s way more going on underneath. Men and women are not the same at all. I will continue to listen on hoping for something better out of this podcast. But now I’m skeptical. 🤨

He lost me on diet sodas, are not harmful. It’s literally tested and proven that aspartame is a neurotoxin and affects your nervous system. I personally thought I had lupus until I cut all aspartame out of my diet and started walking normal (without tremor) again.

This was the podcast that I needed to accompany me on my glp1-journey. Thanks for putting all this incredibly thorough and valuable information into one talk. My ask: Could you do an episode on glp1 and pregnancy? From my experience, a lot of users are women of reproductive age like myself who are simultaneously thinking about weight loss and starting/ growing their family. My research so far is saying that I should be off the meds for at least two months before conceiving again. What's the evidence of glp1 before/ during/ after pregnancy? Especially since it's active in your body for so many weeks after the last injection. What about weight loss maintenance throughout that window between getting off and get back on the injection? What about micro dosing to support your weight maintenance? What do we actually know about intrauterine effects of glp1? Would really REALLY appreciate an episode on those questions. Thank you!!

This whole interview is very current and informative. Does not address how different DNA sequences require different nutrition…but NO on the planet does that yet; maybe Steven Bartlett is getting close😊

After losing 50 pounds in about 8 months the just cycling the same 10 pounds for almost 10 months -the diet fatigue is real. I lost the weight mostly with 1200 calories, super clean protein + veggies and walking 1 hour a day, now I'm looking to lose the last 20 - 30ish with doing more of a recomp build muscle/lose fat way. Hearing someone talk about the diet fatigue is so validating. I've been beating myself up because I just haven't been able to get back to the super clean low calorie I was in for so long and now I'm realizing it's OK to take a bit to live life, build back some muscle for a bit before I jump back into doet mode at a more moderate calorie deficit.

If it is valid to say that mitochondrial melatonin has a short half life, and needs NIR to top it up again frequently, then moving from outside a gym indoors in blue light starts the clock ticking on this reduction of melatonin presence enough to allow more excess ROS and RNS around the ETC , escaping, to the space where superoxides can really get problematic? So, the gym lighting just gets worse and worse metabolically the longer you are in there. But, every hour, going outside for fifteen minutes?
