You need iodine, especially if you have a thyroid disease -- and you need WAY more than people realize. I turned my thyroid disease around with iodine, so I totally disagree with doctors continually pushing an iodine scare -- it's what prevented me from taking iodine for years and suffering with all kinds of horrible effects, and only after Dr Brownstein cleared up this "iodine scare" that I started taking iodine and turned my health around. So, no, it's not true that people should restrict their iodine. he exact opposite is true.

🏋️♀️I’m a Yogatherapist practicing a Bio-enviro-psychic-socio-philosophical model of care specializing in longevity. For a biologically proficient physical body sustain by eating natural whole plant foods optimized by moves (asana, vinyasa, kriya). Kriya, is dynamic stretching occurring before exercise as a warm-up to moves which will be utilized during a workout, vinyasa is a breath per move such as the valsalva inhalation protecting the spine during heavy loads which is expectorated once the load is safely placed, asana is an isometric hold which is the greatest indicator of strength. Yoga is mindful (without injury) stretching, which allows for greater strength gains, stabilizing & strengthening🧘♀️

We grew up always eating vegetables first, even if everything was on the same plate at the same time. It was just what we did!

Taurine is commonly given to autistic kids as well. But you have to be careful with your daily dosage and long term because it is tough on the kidneys. My son and I have been taking it for around 9 years. For around 6 years we were using a bulk brand off of Amazon that was more crystal than powder. After around 6 years on that we both started to develop signs of kidney problems. I swapped to another brand that was more like a powder and the kidney issues went away after a couple of weeks. Kidneys don't like crystals (sharp edges)... whether it's sugar or other crystalline powders.

I love these interviews, but I do feel bad for the poor rats and mice being used for Dr. Fry's and others' studies. I hope they treat them with kind humanity and make their lives as pleasant as possible!

last time i checked, people don’t eat dry cereal in a bowl. I think, I could be wrong, but I think milk is also added? Not sure on that one, but I also think milk has a bit of protein? Maybe? Possibly? But again. I’ve been wrong before so…

I started weight lifting as a 90 pound teen and am a muscular 195, still at age 52. Nothing out of the ordinary with my average genetics. I guess if I had used bands I would have weighed 295. Darn!

Eating a high protein diet has been life-changing for me but I think you are way to enamoured with carbs. Referring to the RDA as if it is based on any good science is a faulty assumption.
