It was very weird for him to go all the way to kings landing and then not just slip in and kill them himself. I think they were more focused on reusing the same tactic from season one when they cut away to say maybe he did maybe he didn't say "heir for a day"/"a son for a son" wow guys we're so impressed. 🙄

Unsound Variations is definitely inspired by Isaac Rice making everybody play his knight sacrifice over and over.

Daemon didn’t care who Blood and Cheese attacked, simply a provocation to push for war

I have a feeling this season will have the same problem last season had. only 8 episodes.
@tierfreund78012 сағат бұрын
there were a few silly decisions last season but mostly it was just rushed.

Not just Preston, the superchat members are derailing ASoIaF content with all this dogshit political rabble-rousing. Ffs, get your heads out of your asses damn it!

Even in the book they did not use Dreamfyre! So really that's George fault not the show
@illCMAC14 сағат бұрын
You mean Dany, surely. Her whole story has been time-wasting till the dragons grow up.
@adamrandolph400314 сағат бұрын
Honetly it might be Jon. He’s probably having a hard time driving the impact of how he’s changed by being resurrected. If it’s too little change his death feels inconsequential but if he’s changed too much he might not be as effective or likeable. He also probably would be tougher to write POVs for
@adamrandolph400314 сағат бұрын
Also the wildlings and night’s watch realistically probably kill each other off in the wake of Jon’s death. That could present a problem

I sometimes feel like killing Lady despite it being an important moment may have been a regret, especially since the Starks warging doesn’t get explored until aCoK. I wonder if he wishes Sansa got to have that ability more

I didn't understand why he would just hire 2 random guys. But I definitely understood why he wouldn't go in by himself.😅

R+L=J is the biggest plothole in the story but this is def in the top-5
@james_sabin18 сағат бұрын
Maybe he meant killing Jon, because now it forces him to do a resurrection plot

Halaena being afraid of the rats might be because she's dreamt of a rat killing her son? We know dreams can be weird about what's visual metaphor and whats literal in this universe.
@nont1841120 сағат бұрын
Translation: Preston really hates that it was Olenna who poisoned Joffrey even though it kinda makes sense in her part.
@nont1841121 сағат бұрын
28:14 Same as mine. The show tried their hardest to do him dirty but accidentally gave him a heroic ending.😂
@SomaSong22 сағат бұрын
Blood and cheese was still effed up. Can't blame haellena for her response. She was in shock. The Sophie's choice is another layer but unnecessary to move the story.

Americans and Southern English people seem to struggle with the idea that people sound differently in different places. But i will say it was a bold choice for Cregan actor to go for that particular Yorkshire accent (which other English people find funny) and go so thick on the accent too. Though it does make a change to have so many regional English accents as before game of thrones we were used to hearing about two stereotypical ones and that's about it.

Overall I was pretty disappointed with the episode The blood and cheese incident was just too stupid and not scary In the books it showed the ruthlessness of Daemon, and the power he has. Here it’s an accident.

Thinking more, theres a very high chance this is just a character he killed off in winds and he actually has had to rewrite things from the start. Theres no reason for us to believe it isnt a winds character, the quote isnt even direvtly from George we have so little context

I was getting some bad vibes from Episode 1. Dialogue felt less tight, delivery a bit more rushed. Getting some Season 6 vibes... There even was more "cock dialogue" always a bad sign.
