The youths and working class in Taiwan are poor! It is generally the ones in the tech industry or have farmland or who own factories (mainly in China) that became rich in the last 30 years. As for the history of Taiwan, you totally skipped over the most juicy parts. Taiwan was an island inhabited by Chinese pirates, farmers and various indigenous tribes since the time Mongols conquered China. The Portuguese got the opportunity to colonise the island in 1624 when the pirate chief decided to retire back to the mainland at the end of the Ming dynasty. It was the pirate Zheng’s half Chinese-Japanese son Koxinga that drove the Portuguese out (along with the Spanish) 38 years later. After the Ming fell Taiwan came under Manchurian Qing dynasty rule and stayed that way until 1895. Taiwan was ceded to Japan as war reparations only because China lost the war to protect Manchuria and Korea from being colonised by Japan.

Overall, great video, but something I never hear talked about is that not all autistic women and girls know how to mask. Some of us try really, really hard to fit in, but still stand out, act in a stereotypical way, and are ostracised. What I'm trying to say is, is that everyone is different.

Good little potted history of Taiwan's economic evolution. Essential to also point out Taiwan's sound Democracy and lower levels of corruption are indeed why it's a wealthier high functioning society; and point to reasons why China will always be relatively poor per capita and dysfunctional under autocracy.

Is Christianity a Western institution of religious idealism? Perhaps in general it is. From the time ancient Roman Empire took up Christianity as its religion to the present U.S. empire it can be shown that Christianity has been an idealism and institution of the changing Western empires.

France was taking 500 billion from it's former colonies ANNUALLY. They had control over their economies; education, militaries and newly found minerals. This type of arrangement has been going on for hundreds of years.

It disgusts me that Nazis were ever a thing and things that they did to those people to the children just unquestionably. The most horrific thing person can do and is exemplary why I hate humans, but that being said the research that was done by those monsters needs to be bound and looked at specifically, because they can’t have been in vain they had to mean something they had to be for the greater overall of humanity because the form that was once called Asperger syndrome and fuck that name by the way I know association with monster monsters

I can’t imagine a worst place to have been diagnosed with autism other than Nazi Germany or Soviet Russia. Those people were monsters, literal monsters, the human embodiment of everything wrong with humanity. I can’t imagine what those kids would’ve gone through and thank God I can’t.

I don’t know I made the joke after Covid vaccines came out that I was afraid to get it cause I don’t wanna get super autism. I mean what if I get laserbeam out of my eyes because the whole idea that vaccines gonna give me autism or cause someone to develop it is ridiculous and laughable because that is how comical it is to me I know I have super autism.

You want of the Neurotypical to understand us is beautiful and I wish that they really could but through my own anecdotal experiences they cannot understand our experience just like we can’t understand theirs and because of that they always be that big chasm between us, but I find that people are more accepting and you’re willing to give them credit for when you’re willing to be honestit’s just terrifying because our lives been made to feel different because of something we could never control

I really really hate shows like the dot the good doctor because first of all no he’s bad because he’s giving people a false and presenting of what autism is he is the most stereotypical autistic person I’ve ever seen in media and since salting that they think we’re like that. They don’t realize how many thousands millions of us are just regular people who aren’t deep, extreme comical version of our condition and I find shows like that one specifically the good doctor extremely insulting because I’m not something to be made light of or comical thing or a plot twist to your show. I’m a person and you’re insulting me by doing that you don’t see me running around making shows about comical kids with cancer because there’s nothing to laugh about with the condition or disease and it’s not something people should want their children to have because I’ve actually heard the disgusting thing of that. They hope their kid has autism when that’s the last thing I would ever want for a child to feel this different the entirety of their life to go through the most formative years of your life and feeling so ostracized that you have like no friends you don’t understand people, and it’s just so hard to have interpersonal relationships because your brain just isn’t wired for it. I’m sure the young man that plays phenomenal and a great young man, but that does not take away from the fact that he is perpetuating stereotypes that hurt us when he not even autistic let’s have real autistic people play autistic characters for fuck sakes of the most well-known autistic actors there is

This analysis is an honest attempt to explain a very complex issue in a short amount of time. Halfway through, I had to stop. The european slave trade existed long before the African nations joined the system. Post colonial depiction failed to include neo-colonialism as the major cause for failed economic development. There was covert sabotage of governments that posed a threat to past colonizer's continuing profits. Neo-colonialism continues to this day.
