today I repeated a mistake I made a long time ago, that became my worst fear and it influenced the way I work. I am drowning in shame but this made me feel so much better. thank you cassandra and everyone in the comments. it's not a huge one if we consider the big picture, but it was something so silly and easily avoidable, i just feel so dumb ahaha

Thank you this helped in my preparation that questions i got were : 1.When can you start working ? 2.What is your expected salary ? 3.Challenging projects? / What project or accomplishment are you most proud of? 4.Describe yourself in 3 words 5.Tell me, in your own words and through your research, what does the company do? 6.Tell me about what intrigues you most about this particular position? 7.Why did you apply for the job ? 8.Do you have any questions for me ? Not the exact verbatim on questions but basically the same.

One important tip when updating your resume for a career transition is to tailor it to the specific job you're applying for. Research the desired skills and qualifications for the new role and emphasize how your previous teaching experience aligns with them. You've got this!

I am too broke to buy them lunch. Also, what if a man asked me to lunch and I am married?
@CassThompsonConsulting6 күн бұрын
Hmm.. I don't think i said buy them lunch, just ask people to go to lunch. The other situation is tricky and nuanced. Has that issue come up?
@healthy_midlife6 күн бұрын
@CassThompsonConsulting yes, it has numerous times, but experts say don't turn down lunch when new in the job

Help!!! Should I prerecord each question then edit it to one whole video? I have 9 questions and under 5mins time limit. Or should I just go through each question and answer the question with the question in it? I’m not gonna remember the question word for word hope that makes sense
@xiomaracuerodaza59307 күн бұрын
Are these types of questions common? I've never been asked them in a job interview. I assume this is for positions where there are employees reporting to you. 🤔

I’m an interior designer, and today, during a delivery at a client’s home, a strong cross breeze knocked over a piece of artwork and damaged it. In a way it was a freak accident, but since I was supervising the delivery, I suppose I’m at fault. I’m expecting to either be fired or pressured to resign. I feel like I should pay for the artwork, but it would be around 5 thousand dollars and that puts a major stress on me. I want to die now.

"I can handle any situation" should be understood within the scope of the job. Your example of "bringing your pet lions to work for your coworker to tame" is weird and irrelevant, as well as unintelligent. Because taming your pet lions is a job for lion specilized trainers who usually work for zoos, circuses etc...not your corporate professional. Believe it or not, there are super strong professionals who can handle any situation within their role and responsibilities. You seem like you coach only entry and mid level, low skill workers.

I asked this one question to the CEO of a big company years ago: “is there anything you want to improve within the team I will be a part of?” He was taken aback and told me he really liked the question. Days later they told me they’ll open a new position just for me

Been unemployed now almost 5 months and I had two temporary jobs. I had one temp job for three days and they let me go saying the training lasted 1 hour and 30 mins instead of 30 mins. and the other lasted one day and the company said I would get bored with the job and said I should be working in a bigger company. I have had plenty of interviews but they pick someone else over me. I have over 20 year admin experience, 2 years of accounts payable and 20 years of customer service experience. I had my resume re-written too. Is it me or just the job market?

But what if they ask who referred you? The last interview i had (didnt get the job) i was referred by my partner and they asked for their name

Hi, would you be able to help me answer this question for a position in customer service? "Tell me about a situation when you had to adapt to a substantial change you encountered while working on an assignment at work. Please describe the situation, how you adapted to the change, and the results."

The more videos I see like this, the more I realise you have to lie through the skin of your teeth to get a job. Most people are not “passionate” about working in general, it’s to make ends meet and survive. We live in such a dishonest world it’s borderline tragic.
