I take 6600 FU Nattokinase from Japan made by Yuma. I am 50yrs old. Had real bad shortness of breathe, chest pains and fatigue before taking it. Now with Nattokinase, I do not have those issues. I am off any maintenance meds for heart, cholesterol and HBP. I still eat whatever I want and I can play badminton singles again competitively. I will not stop taking it.

Interesting this is 4 years ago but I just saw it. Are you still eating Natto doc? You tried some large bean Natto, in a jar. Much of the Natto available comes in little frozen packs of about 50 grams. A large mouthful. I’ve found small bean Natto to be better and easier than large or medium bean. Even better still is hikiwari Natto which is crushed small beans (crushed before fermentation). It’s the most nutritious because a larger surface area has been fermented. It’s also easiest to eat. It’s like crushed roasted soft peanuts. Don’t even have to chew. Just swallow. There’s also a ‘less flavour’ version of Natto, although most manufacturers found a way to decrease the original ammonia smell that turned so many off. I’m only two weeks into Natto and it’s no problem. I’ll continue to eat frozen HIKIWARI NATTO probably forever. I only eat 1/2 to 1 package a day. It’s the best available source of K2, Natto-kinase and also Spermadine, in a whole food, providing all the additional benefits of soybeans in one synergistic delicacy. Hikiware Natto is the way to go. A super superfood.

They absolutely caused brain fog for me, and it's not just lipid soluble ones. Quickly reversed after cessation. Also, given the very large Number Needed to Treat for primary prevention of heart disease, I just can't see the risk/benefit, especially given studies where all-cause mortality is the endpoint. Situation might well be different in people who have already had a vascular event.

Its a horrible medication prescribed to me by my doctor. Severe intestinal issues including the worst stomach cramps ive ever had. I stopped taking it and side effects ended. I read up on it and cant understand how it was ever approved. Read up on their initial trial called "Enhance" and the congressional investigation when this drug came out in 2007. It did nothing to reduce mortality. My doctor was unfamiliar with the side effects and the initial Enhance trial.

Moved to Japan 7 years ago and eat it for breakfast every day, as do so many Japanese. I also take it in supplement form. Before beginning natto, my calcium score was 23.2 in my LAD. Now, its zero, even though my LDL is elevated! My Japanese doctor said, if he was deserted on an island, the most important thing he would want is his natto - it's that critical to your health! That's enough proof for me. I no longer listen to Western doctors who contradict the use of natto.

My initial EF was 55 or so, then down to 40-45 range, and last echo was interpreted to be about 60! Entrust Entresto to your pumper! 😁👍 ( for the record, I am on a cocktail of four heart maintenance medications, and Entresto is only one of them, BUT the only one meant to improve EF, to my understanding. )

I am a general practitioner. I appreciate your excellent videos. I believe, if you haven't already, you might look into high blood pressure managed by beetroot. I have recently given it to about 20 patients (after taking it myself and seeing its ability to do a better job on my HBP than metoprolol and lisinopril). All but one of the patients had a rather impressive BP control almost immediately (a few hours). The one guy got zero help from it. He must have a different from normal HBP causation. Anyway, I take the Natto, K2, D3, psyllium husk, magnesium glycinate. All of these have, similar to natto, a small but growing body of evidence that they are valuable for heart health. Also, forgot to mention -- have had two MI's and am on low dose colchicine and ASA. 28 years IDDM.

Hi Dr. Very interesting. I’m sorry to hear about your MI’s - I’m glad you are doing well now. I have CAD in 5 arteries including the LAD. I was very close to having a stent but they decided to try OMT instead. I am on high dose atorvastatin and aspirin. I have gone in the esselstyn plant based diet and my LDL has gone from 3 to 0.8. My blood pressure has gone from quite high to 110/70 and often lower. Like you I’m a big fan of beetroot juice and im sure this has helped. I want to get on nattokinase but 2 things worry me. Since the plague is getting stabalised by the statins wouldnt adding nattokinase possibly destabilise this plaque ? And since I am already on a plant based which is naturally high in k2 which promotes clotting, obviously the aspirin will mitigate this to an extent but nattokinase thins the blood a lot too, I’m thinking one or the other. I also found out my LP(a) is around 180 which is another reason why I need to reduce heart attack risk but clotting from green vegetables may increase it. Natto and aspirin will reduce it,It’s all so confusing. Any thoughts ? Have you got a high LPa I send you my best wishes.

I started taking 4000FU of nattokinaise with 1000 mg bromalaine and 1000 mg of curcumin after being diagnosed with heart failure and not able to walk more than 500 meters without discomfort. I took it for 7 weeks and was able to walk 2 km before finally having a angiogram and emergency quintuple bypass surgery 6 hour later. I am off of it now because of the risk of bleeding associated with perscribed aspirin. I find that we need more studies on it but understand that if there is no money to be made then funding for studies is hard to come by.

Hi, my doctor prescribes statins rosuvastatin (Crestor) for cholesterol control. After a year I developed what could be similar to Alzheimer's symptoms. I had difficulty remembering things ( 15 minutes of memory ).I had been tested with the Montreal test and they said that I could have the beginning of Alzheimer's. After that I went to the internet google and KZbin and from there some KZbin doctors told in a video that statins were affecting cholesterol and that the brain made up with a lot of it. Guest what, I stopped taking those statins and 2 weeks after I didn't have any symptoms. A real miracle, I could have continue taking that medicine and have bad symptoms for the reste of my life. KZbin had made me realize what could have been the source of my problem. No thanks to my doctor and his staff. . LESSON : STATINE ARE NOT WITHOUT RISK!

I was given pharmaceuticals for hypertension. I tried four of them and couldn't tolerate the side effects. The last two I tried, losartan and then olmesartan, produced crippling side effects that still haunt me after stopping the meds for over two months. I'm visiting PT now. I hope I'm not permanently crippled by that crap. The longer this goes on the more pissed I am about it. Then I tried RSO. It works! My Bp is that of a 20 y/o athlete. I'm up to around 80 to 100 mg per day and tolerating it with no bad side effects. The pharmaceutical industry needs to get off their ass and put some effort into exploring this treatment.

Most M.D.s and D.O.s are firmly lock-step with the big-pharma boys, and one hand washes the other. In fact, most of them still don't usually talk about or recommend anything related to diet or nutrition, but they're quick to prescribe another pharmaceutical manufactured by one of the big companies. I'm very skeptical of many of their "findings," and the whole industry. The fact that the first thing most doctors, clinics, and hospitals do is check your blood pressure whenever you visit for whatever reason makes one wonder about their professionalism, because "white coat syndrome" is EXTREMELY common, and therefore most of those readings are bogus.
