If you go on the Carnivore Diet your blood pressure will drop like a rock. It happened to me and i no longer have to take any BP meds. BTW, I'm 80 years old

Do you have a video about Xarelto, and how do they both compare to each other and to Savaysa? Originally on Savaysa, but when my Medicare Advantage plan left the area last year, I had a limited number of choices for replacement plans, and none of them would cover Savaysa in their formularias. The Plan I finally chose took 3 months to find a Primary Care Physician, which by then I was out of the last of my Savaysa and without any other prescribed blood thinners. When I finally was able to get a PCP he first prescribed Eliquis, but since Savaysa was once a day, I didn't pay attention to the label and took it once a day as well (later found out it should have been twice a day). I did develop a small clot on my right calf, close to where I developed a clot 8 years before and suffered a Pulmonary Embolism. I never had any problems with the Savaysa, but after I developed the small clot on my calf, though it was partially due to only taking half of the prescribed dose, my PCP, or mail-order pharmacy I used, switched me over to Xarelto, which I only take once a day and have had no recurring clot symptoms. Changing plans again this January, and though this next plan doesn't carry Savaysa either, it will be up to my new PCP to determine if I continue on Xarelto or go back to Eliguis.

If I remember correctly, the ENHANCE study compared Zocor to Zocor plus Zetia and used LDL and plaque buildup as endpoints. If my memory serves me right it backfired because the experimental zocor/zetia group with lower LDL grew slightly more plaque. This was about 20 years ago.

No one would take me seriously about statins causing memory loss. I couldn't work money out, times out, and my weight out. FINALLY I got through to the Drs and got put on Rovustatin. My brain is almost all back.

Why did the greater reduction in plaque resulted in higher rate of major ❤ events? You call it insignificant, but your numbers are different and of significance to an individual.

I couldn't stand the memory loss I had on statins. Thank goodness for Repatha and the new PCSK9 inhibitors -- no side effects at all with those. Now with Nexletol and PCSK9 inhibitors you don't need to stay on statins.

My wife is a family doctor. She tells me many of her patients stop statins within a year of starting due to side effects. Maybe they don’t tell the cardiologist.

A family member was put on Heparin while staying at the hospital and then was discharged with Eliquis to be taken daily. I noticed that ever since the hospital visit doing the Heparin, they started sounding hoarse. 4 weeks later and they are still suffering from badly "hoarse" voice to which I am narrowing it on the Eliquis/Heparin being the culprit. Perhaps damages/hemorrhage to the vocal cord. What are your thoughts on this? I was referred to an ENT specialist and will be seeing one soon. Perhaps I may have to bring them into ER if the schedule date is too far out.

I started 50mg Metoprolol again March 2023 after rejecting it in about 2008. My blood pressure and heart rate is now low. Metoprolol is the best drug for my HBP. There is concern it is causing abdominal issues but doctor says he has no cases of record for this complaint.

Been taking atenolol for few months was 25mg twice a day for rapid heart beat. Am currently weaning off due to weight gain. Other than the weight gain it worked great! I went to 25mg a day for a week & now stopped it’s been 3 days.

I take Codiovan, in Which combination of Valsartan and Hydrochlorothiazide is there. I suspect that the later drug is causing ED in me. Should I talke only a Valsartan drug Diovan instead of Codiovan? Is stopping Hydrochlorothiazide dangerous? I am fifty, and this dysfunction has started since taking hypertension drugs two years ago.

I ended up in emergency taking this drug. Poop turned black, toilet water full of blood. Smelled like toxic waste and not poop. Test results revealed that i lost so much blood that the doctor almost gave me a pint of blood. He immediately put in a IV with a drug that neutralized the Eliquis in its tracks. He had me wait for two hours and took another test that revealed no further blood was lost. He told me to discontinue Eliquis permanently and see my Cardiologist. It has been three days since stopping the drug, and my poop returned to brown and no longer soft and mushy with no bleeding. Just three days! The toxic smell has decreased tremendously. This drug is dangerous, and I'm not the only one this is happening to. If you are taking Eliquis, and experience just a small bit of blood, see your doctor PLEASE! It was a awful scary experience. I see my cardiologist in a few days who called me about the results and told me over the phone to also confirm to stop it until he sees me. Thank you for your video.

I was prescribed 120 mg take in the morning. Started feel unwell right after first pill (severe dizziness and vomiting). Dr. Cardiology says it is probably something else and ordered 3 more tests and doctors to see. She was stubborn until somehow, my dizziness and vomiting happened right Infront of her and she could record my vital signs right there. Ambulance team noted that I am simply toxicated with the diltiazem too high dose. Doctor changed doze instead of 120 once a day she wants me to take 30 mg 3 times a day. Now I am waking up on middle of night because of dizziness and vomiting for couple hours during night. I am only the one who have such severe intolerance to the diltiazem?
