You think somehow private funded video games magically fair better? They do not. Both private and publicly funded games can be terrible. See for example the bugs with Cyberpunk on PS4 for a recent example. You have the complete flop that is Veilguard as another example.

People say that gamepads are better for racing not because it's faster, but because you can actually tame the strong cars without the need of all the assists in the world to keep you on the track

It's not just the triggers, being able to decide how much your car is turning is also a big helper when it comes to driving with a controler in contrast to a keyboard.

Let's be honest, forza hasn't been a "top contender" since Horizon 3 and Forza Motorsport 5. The ONLY reason anybody claims modern Forza games are "great" are Xbox fanboys that refuse to play an actually great racing game (GT6/7, Asseto, etc)

We are sitting at around the same hours in Forza titles. Honestly, if you're spending more than a year at a part time job playing the game (in hours), your crying about the title(s) seems weird like you're just a burned fan. Just don't play it then?

The remake looks so beautiful but they completely ruined the gameplay. My heart broke when I tried the taxi mission and there were these ramps that wouldn't even let you jump on them and played a cutscene instead that would get rid of an enemy for you automatically. Oh also can't ride trams and trains anymore and the draw bridges don't move. And they remade the characters to be way more cartoonish and hot headed. And way too many cutscenes.

just watching the 'gameplay' makes me depressed, couldnt even imagine how id feel if i was to actually play it.

I used raw inputs with a controller on RBR and it was a lot of fun. Yeah it's hard at first and the tiniest movement is enough to make a turn but it's not jittery or anything and very stable. You just have to control yourself and very slightly move the joystick.

Rollcage is fun, the sequel feels much better and plays better, but I could say the same exact thing about the original Gran Turismo. GT2 heavily improved the physics engine and gameplay to the point where I couldn't play more than a couple hours of GT1.

The craziest thing is that forza made by microsoft, not by some random company, for which this behaviour at least would be understandable, but that's crazy, especially for such a crazy company

The sad fact is forza horizon 3 & 4 online features/services my shutdown in a few years. Hopefully, Microsoft will notice the negative feedback on the game and make a comeback in Forza Horizon 6/7. This also reminds me of (roblox) vehicle simulator because it looks like the forza horizon series may have the same fate as that game..
