I've been into FPS games since the 80's and for me the biggest change to the genre has been VR I will never go back to playing a FPS on a flatscreen.

NO, restart culture and the early game myth are ruining enjoyment for many. You are trading a long term accomplishment for vapid experiences which give dopamine, it is just playing a game as if it were a tiktok video.

It's crazy for me how you talk about Ground Branch and EFT but never about RON... Because they have the most accurate NVG and GPNVG depiction in videogames lol
@riloegaming19 сағат бұрын
Ready or Not's GPNVGs were just a copy paste of the standard 30 degree goggles when I made this video. If that's changed, I cannot find a source that shows me how even to this day

game is doa. devs most recent update brought the player count up to 800 players on steam woooooooo. then it dropped right back down to the usual 700 its been having since it lost its 12k players at the start of early access. The game wasnt even ready for early access. Hope the devs sink with their half built ship.

Tried it 3 times, Uninstalled the game 3 times. after cyberpunk being a mess at launch and I chugged through it. Couldn’t be bothered with this one. Game was not complete at all. They’re gonna be releasing updates for the next 2 years on this game. Stalker isn’t all that lol.

This game isn't optimized and not just weirdly optimized! - It fills the RAM without cleaning it again. I know there is an automatic RAM clearing option but wtf why we even have/need that option? - We have come to a point where GPU matters just as much as CPU and RAM. We don't live in 2010 where 1080p is the golden standard while pretty much high end PC's struggle to display 2K144 without frame drops. - Given how the game performs it even looks horrible. Shadow flickering, poor render distance, ... - You HAVE to run it on at least a SATA SSD Please just face the fact that this game isn't optimized at all and not just optimized differently. Upgrading a 5 year old CPU and keeping the 5 year old GPU does little to nothing.

It's all so much worse when you consider that most modern games nowadays take anywhere from 3 to 7 years to make so experiencing a good first time experience with a game is not something that comes often.

What an important point to drive home. It saddens me even more because my favorite genre is horror, but horror suffers the worst from this. This is a big reasom why im not a big movie guy, except with certain movies, because youve seen it once, youve seen it a thousand times.

TBH i'm surprised Epic Games hasn't taken a crack at it.... probably will now that stuff like Fortnite Ballistics is popular they could probably do somethin- wait i just realized.... that's literally the Getaway mode all the way back in Season 5.... you don't get to keep your loot when you extract but you CAN extract when you get the gem in the van and live

With a sales revenue of $83,911,112 and profit of $2,178,371, it means that for every dollar in revenue, only 2.6 cents are the actual profit (~2.5%), which is way below industry standards. According to the infallible ChatGPT, that could indicate: 1. High promotional/marketing expenses 2. Lower-than-expected sales performance Well, let's say that the AI got that right. BSG will find themselves in a tight spot sooner rather than later. At some point, they'll NEED to fix the game's issues ahead of the 1.0 release, otherwise the game will die maybe a week after launch. The thing with fixing a game is that you as the developer get next to nothing back (financially) from it. "The game is playable now" is not a great marketing slogan.

Lmfao what a bunch of broscience. I guess I wasted my money going from a 1080 to a 4080 super. Oh wait no I saw a huge performance difference. All the "assets" you talked about aren't managed by your cpu. They're managed by the server or they're managed by the GPU because they are (gasp) VISUAL assets. Ram doesn't matter unless you have a weak GPU and run out of vram and it spills over into system ram. There's no videogame on the planet where gpu doesn't matter because it's a VIDEO game. In fact we're getting to the point where companies like Intel and nvidia are experimenting with removing the cpu entirely and making the computer entirely run off the gpu and ram. When I had a 1080 and listened to all this type of bro science I built a new pc with a 7800x3d and carried over the 1080 thinking it "doesn't matter" and guess what, I gained a whopping 10fps over my xeon e3 v1231. Yes, a 10 year old cpu vs effectively a best in slot cpu. I also got 6400 ddr5 tG SK HYNIX 96GB and I still only saw a 10 fps increase. Because lo and behold, 99% of the time you're playing a videogame, it's GPU DEPENDANT. If you're reading this spinning in circles, there's no magical code to crack to make tarkov run better. You just need a better pc or reduce settings/use upscaling.
