Jake has the best sounding pickups, where Mark and Misha use pickups that cost twice as much, or 3 times with Bareknuckle and don't sound much different. I had a Jackson and put The Alpha and Omega set in it, and I was not impressed. Thinking of getting the Titan set from my Ibanez RGA42fm.

This is great. Brief look at comments and didn’t see…The mini humbucker and Firebird pickups are not at all the same. Cheers!

Ive studied these guitar so long. Where is the loss of signal coming from. One issue is new guitars arent hide glue. But im suspecting now. That the solder was thicker, and that allowed capacitance or amplitude.

usually, what I've noticed is that the better you play guitar, the worse your taste in clothing is. Paul appears to be the exception... unless Dimarzio people told him what to wear, that is

That bridge pickup does not sound at all like the Jaco sound. It sounds nothing like a Jazz bass. Almost more like the bridge humbucker from a late model Ibanez SDGR. Interesting sound though. Great playing as well.

I can’t believe Larry answered some of the questions himself in this video. I have a bare knuckle nailbomb and am looking to try dimarzio but I want something thats versatile, tight low and clear separation plus clean when you roll down the volume and hot enough to play 80s metal, rock things.
