People always forget another external safety for even Glocks is your HOLSTER. Getting a good safe Kydex holster that completely wraps around and blocks your trigger all the way around, nothing is going to get in that trigger to pull it. The only caveat is you gotta make sure there are no obstructions when you’re inserting your pistol, no clothing or draw strings etc to bind up in the trigger when holstering. But a fully holstered pistol has another safety that externally prevents it from being fired. It’s not just gonna go boom. Your striker blocker AND striker spring would have to fail simultaneously for it to just go off which will never happen and even then probably wouldn’t have enough force to ignite that primer if the spring broke which you never hear happening in the first place.

If I wanna get my sora arm license can I just get it or must I get the regular sora license wait 1 year and then go for the army sora license?
@martelltraininggroup12 күн бұрын
You don't need the Unarmed SORA first. When you apply on the NJSP website, you can designate which application you are applying for. Select "Armed Security Officer Certification" when you apply. Keep in mind that you still need a Permit to Carry a Handgun in NJ along with that certification.

From all the videos I've watched, here's my conclusion. Just about anyone can conceal a firearm when wearing a shirt that fits like a feed sack. I'm not into the "homeless toddler" look, so I need to really make an effort in concealing my pistol.

Under 250 g is ok without registration drone ?
@martelltraininggroup15 күн бұрын
Yes, but keep in mind, all drones are still required to follow all rules, regulations, and adhere to any restrictions (such as temporary flight restrictions). In addition, if you use your drone that's under 250g for commercial purposes, you need to register it.
@AnkushKumar-h6h4r15 күн бұрын
@martelltraininggroup I will use it for the intsagram cinematic video. Is that ok? I will follow the rule , I will fly the drone in the visual line .
@martelltraininggroup15 күн бұрын
It's ok unless you are using it as a marketing video to generate income on Instagram. In that case, it could be considered commercial purposes and fall under Part 107.

I escaped N.J. over 20 years ago. I suggest if you are carrying, you should immediately inform the officer you have a legal gun on you. Waiting to do so has caused people to get into trouble for being too slow to do so.
@toobeer19 күн бұрын
I escaped N.J. over 20 years ago and I suggest in any state that requires you to disclose you are carrying, the FIRST thing to do is inform the officer you are carrying. There are stories about people who didn't immediately disclose who got themselves into trouble for not being fast enough to spill the beans.

Suppose I just say. Hey this is a paintball gun. I use it for paint balling. Because technically you can.
@thedirector192123 күн бұрын
I thought taser was technically less lethal whereas something like pepper spray is less than lethal (what we used to call nonlethal). Meaning I wouldn’t fire a taser unless I feared for my life but I might use pepper spray if I was in fear of injury less than death.
@martelltraininggroup15 күн бұрын
I've seen it classified as both. Although neither are usually lethal, they can be depending on the condition of the person targeted. NJ Attorney General has defined Tasers and pepper spray/projectiles as "less-lethal."

Sir I have a question is there a separate ID for the LEOSA. I already have a RPO and if there is a separate ID how do you get it.
@martelltraininggroup22 күн бұрын
For LEOSA, there's no separate ID. It's your official retired ID issued by your agency. I believe some federal agencies have an option to get a specific "LEOSA" ID when they retire.

I think one, of many, issue with our youth and firearms today is due to the REALITY of a firearms is taken away. No exposure, no instructions, no introductions, no real life information given to many many kids and people about firearms. They learn from fantasy. Fantasy of firearms is a horrible way to learn about guns. Video games, movies and more. “Shoot people, blow shit up, look badass” instead of fundamentals about firearms and the uses of them. The REALITY and Responsibility that comes with ownership of firearms isn’t taught unless SPECIFICALLY exposed through programs and or parents or peers with knowledge of it. They need to be taught how to handle, treat and care for firearms, the responsibility of owning firearms, the hood of firearms, the devastation firearms of capable of, the do’s and dont’s, the respect you need to show others and the firearms, and the ultimate reality of life is NOT game. Life is not a movie. You being misgendered is NOT a reason to enact violence against others. You being called loser or fat is not a reason. Firearms are used for life and death only. More people need to be aware of the consequences for firearms. Accidental shootings, rage shootings, and more. Even with certain self defense claims there can be consequences for using a firearm.

Yes. Each time you want to buy a handgun in NJ, you need to go through this process -even though you still need a NICS check at point of sale.

@gray_wolverine63Ай бұрын
It should be all the same laws in all New Jersey. Why are they making this so complicated? Oh, I know, so they can take your rights away as soon as you make a mistake and throw you in jail. I'll wait until Donald Trump is officially our president. Maybe by then, all this BS will get changed. Right now it's not the time for me to get my CCW, with all the stupid laws they have, this is crazy one day is this the next day is something else these people in this state have no idea what they are doing. God help us. Sometimes, I feel it is best just to move out of this state.

Can the police officer ask to have my gun during the stop
@martelltraininggroupАй бұрын
According to N.J.S. 2C:58-4.4 Safety requirements, handgun carry: "...A holder of a permit to carry a handgun issued pursuant to N.J.S.2C:58-4 who is carrying a handgun in public and is detained by a law enforcement officer as part of a criminal investigation shall provide the handgun to the law enforcement officer upon request for purposes of inspecting the handgun. The provisions of this subsection shall not be construed to affect or otherwise limit the authority of a law enforcement officer to conduct a lawful search or seizure." So during a typical car stop, you should not expect them to ask for it.
